  • This is a brief first look to start of my 2002 PT Cruiser that I got then a highlight as I built it into a stock compact derby car of each of the key steps I did.
This car was wrecked into a guard rail and has damage on both sides but is solid still and motor has barely over 100,000 miles on it. It's risky as it was wrecked and the wheels are slightly turned in up front but nothing seemed catastrophically wrong with it visibly so I decided to risk it and buy it.
We'll see how she does when she is in the derby pit

I’m working on building my 02 pt cruiser I’m having trouble with the fuel line. I’m trying to use an external fuel pump but I’m stumped on the return fuel line.

@@AndrewRader-qj6rv Ahh yeah the external fuel pumps I find tricky. Thats why I like running stock fuel cell.
By trouble you mean you can’t figure out how
      best to tie into it?
I do it under car under the front seats typically. I know some guys take fuel lines straight out of migof

@@demolitionnoobs just the amount of pressure. Right now I have a MSD pump and I’m afraid it’s got too much fuel pressure since there is no return.

@@AndrewRader-qj6rv Yeah might be. Thats why I don’t mess with external fuel pumps 🥹
