Farnace's aria from Mozart's first opera seria "Mitridate, re di Ponto". Norwegian Anne Gjevang in the role of Farnace, the older son of the king of Pontus. The Concentus Musicus Wien is conducted by Nikolaus Harnoncourt. An excerpt from a film of Jean-Pierre Ponnelle (1986), available on DVD.

SHe does have this weird nasaly, try-to-be-contralto sounds sometimes, but she does it fine. I personally like Kasarova's true rage and deep-sounding chesties. Check it out!!!
