lol, I'd say the lowest I'd go with my baritone guitar without it sounding too floppy is Drop G. After that, I'd probably just use a drop pedal or some kind of pitch shifter! :^)
On a six string, drop F is about the limit but you'd need a baritone and like an 80 gauge string on the bottom to take it lol, beyond that 7 and 8 strings can get down as low as like C#1, some bands have gone as far as double drop B and double drop A but I dare say a significant part of that is just to prove that they can do it haha
This cover is so awesome even STARSET has added it to their covers playlist.
I DIDN'T KNOW THEY ADDED IT TO THE PLAYLIST!?!??!?!??!?!? WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF That is insane!!!!!!!!

What tuning is this? I think Starset primarily plays in Drop G#
Triad Yea, this song is in Drop G#! :^)
What gauge strings & model guitar do you use?
That guitar is a PRS SE 277. It's a baritone guitar. And the strings I use are the Ernie Ball Baritone Slinkys, I believe they are 14-72. :^)
is it possible to go farther down than drop g#? geniuly curious
