Niimbot printers only work with expensive original labels that have an NFC tag. They do not work with regular thermal labels. The manufacturer justifies this by claiming their labels are of high quality, which is true. However, regular paper thermal labels are often needed for labeling mail shipments and more. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not provide the option to choose which labels to use. I do not recommend this printer if you need to do a lot of printing.
This is a lot of work for one label
Niimbot only print clear on their own brand of thermal stickers. It have that stupid RFID tag in them and no you can't trick it by putting generic thermal paper on their old roll core.
