I really didn't know SAS could be this easy..!
thanks a lot guys for making it easier for everyone who is using it..!

Thanks for letting us know, Alankar. We're thrilled to hear you found it helpful - that's our favorite kind of feedback to get! We'll be sure to share it with Alex too.

Great tutorial! Was there anyway maybe you could have done the 70:30 partition rule? It would be great to see how accurate the prediction was compared to the 30% testing partition.

We're glad you enjoyed this video. Although this contributed tutorial is older (2020), it still contains some good information. If you want to use the SAS Studio tasks and run the regression yourself to see how it would work based on your suggestion, it is possible. The video author used 2.sas.com/6053KxGn3 for the demonstrations. So you should be able to explore linear regressions as shown in the video with a SAS OnDemand account and SAS Studio -- just use 2.sas.com/6053KxGn3 with the task.
If you want to explore the documentation for PROC GLMSELECT and PROC REG, which are the procedure used by the task in the video, here's the link for GLMSELECT: 2.sas.com/6054KxGnO and here's the link for PROC REG: 2.sas.com/6055KxGnP .

Thanks. Do you have any presentations to demonstrate how to test if the model has a linear relationship?

LaSupp, This video was an advanced usage video posted by a SAS user. We have quite a few free tutorials on doing statistical analysis with SAS. But the best resource to learn about using SAS for analytics is our free Statistics 1 e-learning class which is entitled "Introduction to ANOVA, Regression and Logistic Regression.". Here's the free tutorial page: 2.sas.com/6058HZwaG with over 60 videos on using SAS for analytics and here's a link so you can read about Statistics 1: 2.sas.com/6059HZwaH . You can also post questions and ask for recommendations in our Community Forum for Statistical Procedures: 2.sas.com/6050HZway .

I have a question about the dataset for linear regression task. When I put my datasets in dependent variable and continuous variable, Some of my data set is no where to found. But in the addition role, all of my datasets are represented. How can I be able to fix this problem?

Hi there! This would be a great question for the SAS Communities. You can post screenshots and your code for experts and fellow users to give you assistance. 2.sas.com/6059JprGV
