- A lot of you have been asking me to post a video on my experience of my 2014 Renault Duster RXL dCi 85PS. It's one of the most requested videos on my channel. It took a lot of time to make a list of major points that most of us consider when buying a car.

I am 6 feet and 4inches and I fell comfort at back seat and some people want more boot space and travelling with this height at back seat I have travelled 1750 kms
I have a 2018 RXZ 110 PS, which has been tuned to 140 PS/320 Nm. The Renault Duster has exceptional ride quality, and that alone justifies its price tag. My 140 PS version drives like a charging bull on the highway, and more importantly it is supremely comfortable over long distances.
2016 se jo facelift model aya hai usme AC bahut hi dumdaar hai.
Aur rahi baat Maintainance ki i must say max to max 5-6 thousand me ho jati hai from outside (parts not included) Amazon se 2300 ki Castrol oil 15w40 grade, oil filter 350, air filter 500, Ac cabin filter 400, Labour cost 1000, other oil /distill water top-up 500.
Average in city with 80% on 3rd gear 13.3 ki deti hai.
Service Centres actually not recommended, go for best mechanic you know in town, and yes don't ever go for GO MECHANIC or PITSTOP. Pehli bar maruti 800 bhi service pe le gaye to 20k se neeche bill nahi banate.
One more thing i just remembered.... Turbo lag in 2016-17 model me nahi lagi kabhi, 1st gear se hi gaadi khich jaati hai, but i must say 3rd gear me power feel hota hai.
Renault duster ko 10 ghante lagataar chalao to bhi thakaan nahi feel hogi, coz road k vibrations cabin passengers tak bahut kum aate hai. Chote mote speed breakers p duster slow karne ki zaroorat nahin padti.

2nd hand lene se pehle mai bolunga duster k showroom jaa k ek test ride le lo aur car k engine ka awaaz sunne ki koshish karna bonut open kar k.
Koi bhi car upar se jitna aacha lage dekhne me, engine k sound se maloom pad jata hai ki kaisi hai, so compare the sound (what you experienced in test drive) samajh me aa jayega gaadi lene layak hai ki nahi.
Rate you can think of consideration
Are as under
10,000 or >1 year : 85% of PP
20-25 K or > 2 year: 75% of PP
30-35K or > 3 year: 65% of PP
40-50K or > years: 55% of PP
50k- 75K or 5 year: 45-50% PP
75K - 1lac or 6 years: 40%PP
Above 1lac or 7year+: 35% PP
PP: Purchase price
+5 % can be increased as per car Ride experience.
AC 2016 and above model ki 2nd level pe ungliyaan chilled kar deti hai agar 1 min se upar ungliya rakho ac vent k upar. Samajh lo itni sahi de rakhi hai 2016+ model me air-conditioner.

Bro meri duster 1,50,000km chal chuki hai n abhi tak kuch bhi extra paise ni lage n har dusri service 4-5k ki hi hui hai n avrg is city mai 18kmpl n highway pe 22-24kmpl wid ac deti hai n trust me ur service center ppl r lootin u otherwise Itna to kabhi lagta bhi ni n my ac is still vry effective!!
Apart fron after sales service and Spare parts cost, all things in Duster are top notch. I own a 110ps Diesel Rxz. The pull after turbo lag takes the driver to another world. 💯

@@jawaharsoman same thing bro even I own 2013 110ps same fuel injector problem , in showroom they billed around 28k for each injector and my local mecahnice did it for 500rs 😂😂😂

Bro I watch ur videos .plz make videos on duster modification ,and outer sources for spare parts like headlight ,taillight ,bumpers , alloy wheels etc. Since most of us live in distant parts of India it's not possible to seek duster items ,not it's available here .Delhi has biggest market for automobile so ur blog can help us figure thing quite well.keep posting

I am also a user, the spare parts are extremely expensive, i.e front brake pads costs 7500, rear brake pad costs 9000, front suspension is also very expensive they cost more than 25k, headlight combination switch costs 7000, front power window switch costs 2700. 😢
Other parts bhi extreme costly hai. Please ride in sophisticated manner.
Awesome video. However, a small correction - It is called "Body on Frame". Not "Ladder on Frame". Secondly, the Duster does NOT have more ground clearance than the Fortuner.

I have a ten year old duster the cars handling and suspension are the reasons i still want to stick to the car. creata and seltos are like toy cars theybjust dont have this cars stability. The major cons are AC cooling is not too good, interiors are cheap and build sheet metal damages easily. But if u love driving u cant beat it

I bought a used Terrano from second hand.... I'm listening a mild whining/whistling noise from the steering pump while turning, is it normal?
No bro it's not normal. Is there an aftermarket upgraded music system in your car? It's because there was a time when I had to set the gain of my amplifier to max which ultimately resulted in the same whistling noise you're referring to.
@@51NGHVlogs sorry bro I didn't install any amplifier in my car... I'm able to hear the noise even when the audio system is turned off & the noise increases & decreases when I turn my steering wheel.
@@rajarajanm3113 bro I had the exact same issue. I suggest you to get your car's electricals checked because this may drain your battery and reduce its life. Just a friendly advice because I've been through that.❤️

This car produces the exact same noise which my car too makes. These guys says that this noise usually occur with Nissan cars. But I don't know any Nissan Terrano owners to consult with.... that's y I asked u. Since the Nissan Terrano is simply a rebadged duster.

After sale service is the worst amongst all the existing brands in india. This is my personal experience and very honestly the renault workshops and its management are basically worst and unprofessional... You will never find spare parts in stock, even important fluids which is needed regularly are not available most of the time... The workshop of renault in most of the cities looks more like a scrap house " kabad khana" and when I ask the managements why the workshop and its after sale service is so poor they honestly and purely blame it on the RENAULT company itself as they are incompetent in providing the spare parts, fluids, etc etc on time even after when the workshop management has paid the amount to the company. Later after my several visits to many renault workshops in different cities I found it to be true.. it's not the workshop management but it is the RENAULT COMPANY itself who is incompetent... Hence I decided to get rid as soon as possible and will opt for Hyundai brand and hope for good riddance from renault.

85kms and 155K total plus tires. don't know what u have done. mods should not be included. but I agree, parts v v expensive and workshop pax a v v rude. parts at showroom are 3x the normal price. had 3 Renault cars. now only duster. will never buy Renault only due to serve snd spares. showroom service are cheats!!! Company can call and will give proof
