Hello CZcams
And welcome to this small update for my metro system
I created this back wall
With a smartphone - or it's not a smartphone
it's a Samsung Galaxy WiFi ... thingy
like a small tablet - just crappy
But it can be used for this video display
So now my underground system has a video display
or an interactive billboard - or not that interactive
but it's displaying something - I think it's quite nice
so yeah - that's just what I wanted to show
this is my progress so far
with my underground train system ...
... station ...
... metro ...
... tube ...
... subway ...
... thingy
ohhh, one last thing ...
if you want to use this billboard
on your own smartphone
there's a link in the description to the video I'm using
see you later - bye
Brickostan!

Thank you!!
I love the thumbnail the train fits perfectly I love it
Nice metro train and station I have built one as well
Awesome idea - will have to consider using something like this in my subway!
Such a great idea! I am at the planning stage of my first LEGO Parisian subway station and your metro is a great inspiration.
Thanks.
Your rubber wheel metro is cool. It's always nice to see how other LEGO builders train MOCs.
Nice that billboard is great! I might use it in my city.
Thanks 😊
I adjusted the video to fit the screen on the Samsung Galaxy Wifi 5 I have. I don't know if it'll fit other phones.
@@Brickostan we will see. I have an old phone that is similar size
that is cool
OMG It's fantastic
Thanks 😁
Oh the metro trains are very cute🥰
Yes they are! 😁😁
This is actually really cool!
Thank you 😁
Amazing 👏!
Thanks. Glad you liked it.
I love it!!
Thanks. I’m glad that you like it
Super cool
Thank you
Thats really cool 👍 It show's very impressive, that old smartphones can combined with bricks 🤗 I'm using an old smartphone as a "big" screen at my Brick-Stage "KISS on Bricks" 😁
Greetings from Switzerland

Thats cool
Thanks. I'm glad that you like it
Nice bro
That is so good!!
Thanks 😁
Awesome
😁😊
That is a genius idea! 👍🏻😁👍🏻
Thanks 😁
DAMN
Supper cool, I live in UK London and we a sub train system like this. We don't have digital screans on the side of track walls like that as it is hard to maintain somthing like that and to costly to shut down the trains to get access to it. Screens like this would only be in main station terminals where people buy tickets.
Yeah. The inspiration was also the London tube.
In the Copenhagen metro they at some point had some projectors that showed ads on the wall behind the tracks.
And the advertisements that roll up and down is supposed to look like the billboards where there's a motor inside it and the different adds are placed on one single canvas.
@@Brickostan Yes that's a good point however those style of adds are also not put on that location.
@@legobrickabrac yeah, I think you’re right there 🤔
@@Brickostan 😀
Cool
Thank you
used a mobile for my cinema but how you used it is a really nice idea :)
Thanks. Yeah, I've seen a lot of people use a phone for one big display - but never seen anyone else split it up into multiple "small" displays like I do (and make a specialized video with three different things showing) 😁
Nice and cool idea 😀
Thanks 👍
You could even have a phone charger cable connected to it to allow charging if it was permantly built into a build. 🙂
I already have 😁
Very cool 😎
❤❤❤
😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
😅😅😅😅😢😢
Dude! Awesome. How did you make the actual video for the display?
I have a few old phones laying around and would love to try this .
Nice that you left the link!
It would be cool to see what you used to make the video for your display, so people could try making their own displays.
Keep up the amazing work!
I used the video editor "Shotcut" for it.
I made 3 separate vertical videos that each would fit into a LEGO Windows - I used the resolution 560x1040.
Then I made a video where I placed the 3 horizontal videos next to each other. It took a couple of tries to get the correct placement of the videos to fit correctly into the LEGO windows.
The pictures was just found online. I found pictures of sticker sheets for 10232, 10184 and 70620 - and resized each to 560x1040.
@@Brickostan Amazing! Thank you for the very detailed instructions on how you did that!
And Espescially Thanks for taking the time to read and respond to my question! Much appreciated!
I might give it a try for my own lego city someday!
@@breakneckbricks2028 no problem
the trains has a propulsion
this is so cool! really like the design of the train as well!
Thank you very much!
where to buy lego metro?
can i use this idea for a moc?
Yeah, copying parts of others MOCs - isn't that what we all do 😁
yup i guess so
also ty for subbing to me
