I'm fasting this year because a young coworker is Muslim and I didn't want him to feel alone. My doctor set some limitations as I am disabled and on several medications.
I think everyone should fast, it teaches you so much about yourself and the world around you. Blessings to Muslims this time of year.

Bless You as well, but as I’ve TBI, my mum and doctors don’t reckon I ought to fast. Same goes for children, old people, severe dis-eases, mental dis-orders, etc. Depending on Your disability, You may or mayn’t fast, I know not. I agree that many should because it probably does teach many great things in Life.

I'm graduating college early and moving across the country for work, so this is the last few days I'm spending with them. May Allah give you happiness. Lots of love from your non-muslim fans!!!

I am a born Muslim, but I failed in revisiting Surahs I learned when I was younger. I am relearning those short surahs, and I have tried applying some of them to my salah. Pray for me because I am planning on doing hijab from here on out. May Allah bless you.

Getting a job in sunny Dorset was the best thing that happened to me this Ramadan. There's nothing like career progression to make a girl feel elated!

I had a beautiful day yesterday at my favorite park, enjoying nature and the wildlife and got to feed my favorite lil squirrels there 🥰
I'm not Muslim, but the best thing that's happened to me and my husband actually happened today, when we got word from our lawyers that the money owed to us by our state was settled and the check is in the mail. We are looking forward to finally being able to settle some debts and to pay for some much needed health care procedures that have been on hold for a long time. I prayed to God faithfully to help us out in our situation, however He deemed right, and my prayers were answered today. Blessings to you and your family!

Assalam u Alaikum I always wanted to learn Arabic so that I can understand Quran without relaying on translations and this Ramadan I found a course by bayyinah it's called "Dream Intensive" and Alhamdulillah❤ I've learned so much. It's the best course for beginners and I would totally recommend it😊

I am thinking and feeling long and deep about reverting to Islam. This was the first year I really contemplated what Ramadan meant and Eid as well and the Unity that the Religion and it’s beliefs provide so many people at once every day like a perfect dance amongst millions . Although I mean that spiritually not literally. I am still Catholic but I feel such an urge to talk to other sisters about this. I called a Talk to a Muslim phone number where they mail you any info they have about Muslim’s and women etc. I also have been wearing a veil in church although it is lace and more on the Catholic style. But I do believe in covering I always have and rarely wore trendy exposing clothing. In fact my family took me shopping to try to get me to dress more in style to meet a husband. I did just fine in my turtlenecks floor length prairie skirts and full length dresses from my collar to over my wrists to the floor with tights and loafers. I think most men when looking for a serious partner are looking for that modesty it brings out there pride in that you dress not for other men but for God, yourself, and your husband . No one else. I do have a question I have a lot of medical problems and mobility issues how do I do the full prayers that require so much movement? Also I have had the Anointing of the Sick or Catholic last Rights so many times I cant count because my health is precarious. What if by emergency I am rushed into surgery and I haven’t made my official shahada but people know I was wanting to can they by proxy if I can’t talk but can communicate I do want that. I am still reading the Quran and learning about the pillars of Islam can they pray for me to revert in my soul or do I actually need the whole statement to be said out loud ?
Oh those kicks and rolls and hiccups I loved them! I missed them even though after giving birth they still continued just a little further up under my chin area when my babies would rub their heads as if to say I am cozy here Mama it is my happy place.

Alhamdulilah i was blessed to experience this pregnancy without a job or in a different environment just still living at home with my mum and toddler and brother. This time it was so less stressful not rushing to finish a visa application for my husband or working stressful hours walking in bad weather and caring for my dad and my mum not being home and not being guided yet until after she was a year old alhamdulilah for the salah i got to do this time and that i had submitted mybwill to Allah that i felt grateful and pleased with the qadr of Allah.
