I didn’t have a father in my life so these videos are a true education on how to dress and take care of myself. Thank you 🙏🏽 so much for these vids!! please keep them coming.
you are very welcome Pinero!
@@TheStyleOG Yes, agree or for some of us a stylish brother or cousin. I have learned a shit ton yes. I not only watch but I now have a collection of cool stuff and a cool closet and can often duplicate the amazing stuff Jeff puts together. It has been a huge positive gain in my life going from the worst dressed to the best in the room. I have comments from ladies almost everytime I now go out and even some questions from friends who want to dress better. This was rocket science now simple. I am a copier, a forger a mimic and yes I have huge grattitude and loyalty to this great channel and the man that puts it all together.
When I was younger I got a great green Woolrich crewneck. I looked like Ned Flanders.
Frederick Calabrese good for you boy
My favorite sweater look for men is a v-neck sweater worn with a button down shirt and tie, topped off with an ivy cap. I absolutely love it when my husband wears this!
You keep bringing quality for spring/winter!
I try Josef!
That V neck sweater has always been a go to with jeans 👖. You’re right, always have to upgrade when I see something new out. Thx 🙏
Definitely a main part of any wardrobe that is worth it's salt. The combinations are endless. You can start the outfit with a sweater, or compliment any look. I tend to think of them in combination as an ensemble. Maybe my mood, the weather, or the occasion will set the tone. Great video.
Thanks Mark!
Great video OG, I really appreciate your ability and willingness to style items from different price points, too many people are hooked on expensive name brands that don't always look or feel the best.
appreciate the feedback Brenton!
Half Zip Sweaters - I have several 👍
Great selection Jeff, all quality... do like the crew/V neck as the most versatile option, but worn right then the turtle neck is the real awesome piece. Your channel is tops, so much of your content is where my wardrobe is at 👊
Sweaters, baby!! Oh yeah! Warmth, smart-casual style. Love your style man, keep rocking them different colours. I love my Cardigans too... I need a turtleneck!!
I'm wearing a shawl collar sweater today, that has cable knit too.
I love it Lycosa! shawl cable knit
Yo O.G!! I wish I was your friend too so I could"borrow" some of your gear. Ha! Your taste never lets anyone down man. Keep doing you
haha! Thanks Peter!
Thanks Jeff. I love sweaters, especially turtlenecks. Just wish it gets cooler here in Savannah a lot sooner so I can rock mine. Glad to learn about different ones. Great job!
no problem my friend! I love Savannah..lived in Georgia for a while..
Awesome job as always. The only one I need to add to my sweater collection is the turtleneck. I have not had one in years. Time to add it back in. Thanks for the nudge!!!
you got it David!
+1 to the cardigan! Great way to spruce up a jeans and t shirt look. Perfect for layering. Great video as always!
Thanks my friend!
GREAT VIDEO, THE SHAWL COLLAR IS MY FAVORITE!
Excellent swearer style advice, Jeff. I love cardigans, especially chain link cardigans in cotton or wool.
gotta love a cardigan Lou!
I like to rock the fitted hood sweaters with the slit with one button
@StyleOG: My favorite styles of sweater are a few of the ones you named. Crew neck, V-neck, and cardigan. Wool, cashmere, and cotton are my top fabrics! Keep up the great work my brotha! The cable knit sweater you got on looks good as well. Looks like cashmere!
Appreciate the input!
Honorable mention: cashmere (2 ply or more) hoodies. Elevates a casual look for men. Easy to layer over a car type coat, To preserve the underarms & back of your sweaters and to extend time between cleaning, invest in some nice quality t-shirts👍🏾
Dope video OG!
Always keeping us on point
Salute 💯
Salute BG!
You are always on time with style advice. Definitely that time for a nice sweater.
appreciate you C.G.!
Keep doing your thing my man. Love the videos. Great to see a man of color doing lifestyle videos. SALUTE!
Salute Rodney!
My fave sweaters to wear are cricket sweaters. The super preppy cable knit with the v-neck. I honestly started liking cricket sweaters because of seeing Carlton Banks rock them on the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. He always had the preppy colors, like yellow, pink, green, red, baby blue and so on. I also like the shawl collar sweaters.
appreciate the input Michael!
Thanks O.G. I getting ready to more sweaters to my wardrobe especially the turtleneck.
you got it Anthony!
Keep them coming. You are gonna have me looking fresh this Fall/Winter
that's my hope...
I love half zips/buttons. I'm currently wearing a wool half zip today to work
O.G. your sweater collection is on point. I'm looking for a cable knit as we speak. I think this turtleneck under a nice suit or blazers is beyond dope. YOu give me some great idead O.G.
appreciate it Nehemiah!
Thanks for the mention!!salute you. Great video as always
You got it Mr Piston!
The v neck is a classic for a semi formal event with a shirt and tie. The mock is a sweet go to with a blazer. Great vid
appreciate the input Randell!
All dope choices, the v-neck and cardigan are my favorites.
Thanks for the feedback Marv!
I was already close to buying a cable knit sweater. This is definitely gonna make me go for it very soon.
go for it!
Love JCrew sweaters-in fact, bought a wool green coat there for me today. Sweaters on men with collars underneath are 👌🏻🔥. Black sweaters with super dark new blue jeans (and a belt!!!) looks good, too. You’re right, v-neck is always a winner.
Turtle neck only certain men can pull off-and women. I like them, but not everyone can pull them off.
Jeff, great OG content. To piggy back on Uniqlo, they have that lightweight option great for layering. I love a thick button up shawl cardigans for lounging when it's cold. For a more elevated look, but maintaining the the ez on/off of a full zip hoodie, I'll go with a full zip knit sweater like the OG sweater king Fred Rogers.
always appreciate your input my G!
There are some very nice quarter zips in fleece like material. My favorite came from Johnnie O. Kind of preppy but very high quality.
appreciate the input Doug!
Nice video Jeff, and a fine collection of sweaters if I do say so myself.
Thanks Melvin!
The cardigan, shawl or not, is an extremely versatile piece that tops even the turtleneck for me. It can act as its own top layer/sport coat or layered underneath a jacket. Next would be the turtleneck because it gives those 60s/70s classic vibes if worn alone and is elegant enough to wear with jackets and coats. Can't go wrong with either. Runner up is the V neck because you can rock that with a collar and tie to smarten up an outfit and honorable mention to the cable knit because I know it doesn't get enough love. I am quite partial to a turtleneck cable knit. Chunky and a little sophisticated.
Cashmere sweater are so inviting, just want to touch it. And it is so classy.
style og love ur videos u keep the gentlemens on point!
Thanks Kevin!
I'm feelin that cable knit sweater you got on. My dude. 👊🏼

I always go for navy, black, grey and brown, but I'm digging the more bolder colors you showed.
Thanks Jack!

Yes they are!
Great informative video, love the closet tours.

@The Style O.G. : Please, what are your thoughts re: the sweater vest? Do you wear/recommend the sweater vest for a mid-40 year-old man? What are good professional and casual wear allternatives to the sweater vest? Thank you.

Don't forget about the dark chocolate brown crew-neck one. A rare, yet highly stylish colour. I have a cashmere/cotton blend one several years ago...still looks good. That and a navy blue one.

Hi I love sweaters when it's gets cold here in Louisiana I have at least 12! Sir
What’s your thoughts on sweaters with big logos on them? I’m thinking about getting a Polo sweater with RL in it big in front. Childish?
I have a black Ralph Lauren sweater vest with a red horse. What would you wear with that?
Great list and I enjoyed it and have a blessed night
You too Michael!
My man really got the fit💯
I have a red suit and I am trying to find a shirt & necktie that will go with my red suit besides white shirt can you give me some recommendations please

Salute sir.
Nice sweater love the uniqlo sweaters.
Salute my G!
Is there a crewneck like the one you’re wearing but without any of the design on it, I want it to be basic?
You and me both bro, miss Ralph Lauren Rugby, that was one of RL’s clothing lines I wish they didn’t discontinue, have so many long and short sleeve Polos & a few cardigans too from them, & was and still am a rugby patch freak, currently copping RL Rugby patches from eBay to hook up this RL Polo varsity jacket I just copped. as usual bro another banging style vid, keep doing ya thing sir, SALUTE. Be Safe;-)
Talk that talk !
An afro and a clean shave with only a moustache would fit better with that cable sweater : Total vintage look !
(It's just humour of course )
Love the red.. nice video bro 💖
Thanks Jeannine !
Sweaters are amazing! I need a few more in my life ASAP. Got me a dope charcoal grey crew neck at Targét not that long ago. 😉
Sweet!

Saluuuuuuute!
You forgot about the argyle sweater I love rocking those. I had a nice Sean John turtle neck sweater I used to wear back in the day. I used to love his clothing line.
Used to love argyle sweaters!
That seems like more of a sweater "color," or pattern, than a style. Any of the styles he mentioned could be done in argyle.
Dope video I prefer the shawl sweaters
Thanks!
Nice Video OG
Learning alot 👍🏾👍🏾
Thanks Alexx!
Great video Jeff. Are you going to do another one on hats. I remember you did one on skull caps but will there be one on other types of winter hats? Thanks my brother!
hats are on the agenda Joseph!
Looking forward to it!
nice one, i love the one you are wearing and half zip one but should be grey, brown or navy !!
Thanks Isaac!
Great video- very practical.
Thanks Frederick!
Dope vid! I'm definitely a sweater guy!
Thanks Mike !
Just got some nice v necks, 20 min ago, feelin the vibe
nice Chris!
Nice sweater, this grey that you wear.
Dope vid OG.
Quick question, are you able to do up the buttons comfortably on your camel overcoat? I find mine to be a bit tight on the chest but it still goes down to my knees bc i'm short. I might just rock it unbuttoned and maybe get a tailor to take some length off. Any advice?
I"m able to button mine Dustin. I often rock it unbuttoned as i like the look. If you really like the coat, I think it's worth having tailored
What is your maintenance routine to keep your sweaters clean and not faded? Do you wash or dry clean mostly?
Dry clean exclusively..
Another great video 👌
Thanks John!
It is a good thing for me that you are not showing the seven type of cars I need. My sales resistance is pretty low and you are very persuasive. My wardrobe collection has expanded exponentially since watching your videos. Good stuff again.
seven kinds of cars on the way! lol
V neck sweater is my favorite,it make me lean and muscular also it's more versatile.Old Navy have some on sale for $15.
Love a v neck Jack!
Nice, I like that Jeff Style O.G
Thanks Gideon!
Thank you again, I salute
Salute Solomon!
For your basics, a light grey (crew/v-neck) sweater and a turtleneck in (dark grey, black or navy blue) Will get you compliments
True indeed Rob!
I love the cardigan
Thanks Domzavier!
I've been rocking the half zip sweater for years. One of my concubines refer to it as a dad sweater.
Almost thought you weren't going to mention the half zip!
Would you ever wear suspenders under a sweater? Like under the half zipper sweater?
I don't see why not..
@@TheStyleOG thanks o.g.!!
Keep it up!No Tiege Hanley shit😂That 70k coming in no time,G!
soon come...
Hey dude love your content been watching for a couple months now. Do you think you could adjust the audio a little on the music so I can hear your voice clearer or reduce the echo?
Appreciate the constructive criticism
