Thanks for the playthrough, Markus. I doubt this is a game that I would play solo, but I would not mind trying the cooperative version with my husband.
Thanks, Stasia and yes, this is quite fun playing cooperatively, even though thematically the competitive mode makes sense.

Really good play through and I am tempted to get my copy to the table having watched the Netflix show, but need to finished Tainted Grail: KoR first. Just one point, when you completed the Welcome to the Commonwealth card, you forgot to move the railroad star down one point. Completing that card via Diamond city helps the railroad.
Oh - thanks so much and I just checked the footage and indeed, I completely ignored the star on the card :-D I will repair that at the start of the next episode!

Played the original version, crazy that it was a competitive game. If you're going to have a game that is essentially a choose-your-own adventure, have a book instead of an annoying deck of cards to juggle. So, not a fan but always love your videos.
Thanks much! I actually do prefer cards - especially here where the outcome can vary depending on a lot of factors. Flipping a card always feels better to me than browsing through a cumbersome book.
@@realjplay Hi Marcus I think that would be OK if the game told you which cards you need for the scenario. In Arkham Horror 3, which uses the same card system, with my two expansions the event deck is a massive leaning tower with the vast majority of cards being irrelevant/not required for the scenario.

I'm curious to see how it plays out for you; I've played this scenario many times, but for whatever reason I've always allied with the Railroad.
Thanks, Joel! And honestly at this point in time I couldn't care less. I stepped out of my trusted vault, found this poster (agenda card) and decided it would be a good idea to follow the Institute ;-)
Fantasy Flight should have re-released with New California and the smaller snail content minus the original 👍 cards. I managed to pack it all into the original box.
The other board game felt rushed to release but definitely parallels to Red Sonja: Hyrkania's Legacy and this.
That‘s a very common theme there unfortunately. Releasing content that feels unfinished and is waiting for its first expansion…
