I was born in 1932, so lucky to experience London, Kent until the 1970s. Still going now in Australia. Glad I came here when I did.

Where Is that town?
I think we should have a national holiday in the UK where we would be living in the 40's or 50's, & everyone would be dressing up old fashioned. Just imagine that. It may feel weird with us just having this advanced technology, & dressing up old fashioned. They don't seem to mix. But hey, it would be nice to see men wearing their hats more often & women getting their hair curled up or whatever etc you know.
No I prefer that everyone dressed up in Medieval clothes.

+martmart1 Well it's a trilled R. I usually hear that from foreigners only. I looked it up now, it's called the alveolar trill. It seems like in Great Britain only Scottish people use it and maybe you can hear it in old videos about British royalty.
