    Traveling on vueling was such a pleasure, the airline simply loved my checkin luggage and they simple keep it, isn't it lovely, I have my valuables in the luggage which I would have wanted to take back home, but for them it's love at first sight and I must truly respect that...5 other passengers on same flight experienced the same...this love is quite infectious!!!

    Well, I haven't flown on Vueling for ages until last week. Both outbound and inbound flights delayed for more than an hour and a half. In their defence, I have to say that the second delay was caused by industrial action by French air traffic control.

    We recently flew from Barcelona to Lisbon with Vueling...we were lucky we had no major issues but, our gate did get changed last minute with no announcement. Luckily we recognized people running around with their heads cut off...so we thought we would double check our gate. We made it just in time. Thanks for the info on this airline. We Subbed!!!

    Last year in summer they had massive delays because of some strikes in some european countries. I flied with them multiple times, and there were just minor issues. They learnt they lesson (which is that the flights were too close to each other, if the plane gets at 4pm in rome it used to depart at 4:40, and that what caused the problem)

    I remember having a bad experience with Vueling on a flight from Madrid to Florence, it's a very long story I just remember a bad experience, thanks for reminding me, since I was thinking about making a reservation with Vueling.
    I have to look for a reliable airline like Air France? I hope so
    For nothing of this world I will do it, for Vueling.
    I flew by Ryanair last year and it did not hurt me, but unfortunately they do not fly where I want to go, I have to fly by a more recognized airline, Thanks for your help I refresh my mind, and Vueling will never see my face.

    I flew twice in Europe with Vueling and I didn´t have any problem. I flew from Bilbao to Paris, then 3 days later from Paris to Rome. Everything was perfect. Flights on time, good service, food acceptable. I bought the tickets online and I did my check in online too. Printed my tickets. No problem with them.

    Nice video, well done. Sorry to hear that, that sucks. We luckily had never such a bad experience. We had it ones with airasia at Bangkok Airport, but all was i think well organized. We had to wait 5 hours till our flight took off. But they offered free drinks and snacks and always gave updates on what is going on. Greetings from Phuket

    I had a similar situation last year with them flying Athens - Barcelona.The whole situation was dealt so poorly with vueling having no ground staff in Athens and no one able to tell anyone what was going on.Flight was first delayed with 2 hours (from 0400 until 0600). We were then let on the plane where we waited 2, 5 hours just to be informed we were not taking off. Waited another 3 hours at the check in trying to get information, we're rushed to and from a hotel to get some food. Arrived at the airport again (we were then 10 h delayed) got rushed to check in and was then advised plane was going to take off in 2 h.6 h later at 2230 we finally boarded, during this peruod we were only offered food ones, no water, no blankets, just a hard airport floor to wait on.It was mentally challenging trying to just mentain sanity.I tried claiming compensation afterwards through forms, emails, fb, you name it! But customer service wouldn't help out. In the end I got a tip to contact the greek avion authority and after they contacted Vueling it took 10 min for me to receive a 800 € compensation for me and my boyfriend. Go bigger! Vueling will never accept your claim otherwise! Ill keep my fingers crossed for you!

      I actually used a website called resolver, first I used their form to send the complaint and when I had no luck I asked their customer service about advise who then gave me the tip to contact the aviation authority and provided me with the email. And everything was free, highly recommended!

    I was on a 2 week student trip, where we had a new country everyday and one of our flights was Barcelona to Brussels with Vueling, at first it was alright, just a 35 minute delay, but in the air, they told us the flight had been CANCELLED and we would be redirected to London-Southend, an even further route. I was then given a full refund from my school.

    When I fly with Vueling (every time I go on a plane) I only had delays but nothing over 1 hour and only 1 time my flight was cancelled but they put me on the next flight and on first class. And I am flying with Vueling over 12 years now. I never had any problems with the airline but I don’t know from where you were flying from because if the airport is smaller there will be less staff but when the airport is bigger there will be more staff. I only went from Amsterdam to Barcelona or Amsterdam to Barcelona to Granada.

    Unluck, sorry for your experience. I've been flying with Vueling between Italy and Barcelona 19 times in the last 12 months and I've never had my flight cancelled or delayed more than 15 minutes. Vueling is cheap, but not bad at all :)

    We can one up you on this bad experience with a bag lost for more than 2 weeks
    We were overseas for a cycling event and had a bike as one of our bags, we had no problems for any other airlines. When at the desk to check our baggage, we were forced to pay £130 euro for additional baggage because we did not state the oversized luggage was sports equipment. No refund as they do not refund in their policy.
    Then we lost our bag with our clothes in it .
    When we lost our bag, we placed our temporary address where we were staying for two days in Greece and our home address where we were going after that. Vueling delivered our bag to our temporary address 3 days after we had left Greece.
    They then lodged our case as closed because they had delivered the bag.
    (Lucky I had an air tag in my bag because I could see all along that my bag was being held at Athens airport)
    We called up their customer service and after being hung up on multiple times, we were finally promised delivery of our bag to Sydney and reimbursement of all of the clothes we had to buy since our baggage was lost (but had to lodge this claim once we had our bag)
    Finally after 2-3 weeks we received our bag (had to pick it up from the airport).
    And lodged our claim for reimbursement.
    We were told we would receive £100 when promised greater than £350 as they had “delivered” our bag in 2 days.
    Tonight we were hung up on twice from their customer service line with very rude treatment.
    Not impressed and no outcome yet.

    I flew with them last month from Alicante and we were at the back of a long line and got on the plane at 6:05 am and are flight was at 6:35

    I had them delayed for more then 5h, then you can get some money back, but getting it back from them will take you years..

      We have also experienced the lack of interest shown by Vueling Airlines customer service this summer following the Covid 19 lockdown. Having failed to reply to our initial emails for weeks I finally received one saying they would look into our claim for a refund/vouchers and then complete silence. Any suggestions? DG Wales

    Sorry about your experience, I've never had that type of problem with vueling but I must say that they are 90% of the time behind schedule. The plane is always late other than that nothing. Also vueling is a low cost company, perhaps if you travel with British airways or Iberia ( all of them are from the same group) you won't have as much trouble or they take care of business differently but people usually want to pay little and get a lot.

    My experience was alright, although they were still boarding at departure time. The leg room was too poor on the normal seats but huge if you go for extra legroom

    LOL, funny, reading this year after, I just got my delayed luggage back from Vueling after several days. I was emailing them so many times - no response. The contact on their website is not even working. They safely got me from Rome to Prague, but I will never fly them again.

    My girlfriend was flying from France to Scotland to me his month on 12th July. He flight was nearly 4 hours delayed without any explanation. Under EU law, we are supposed to get a large amount back as it's over 3+ hours late. But searching for hours, still couldn't locate appropriate online form for claims.

      I think this is it: Submit an air passenger rights EU complaint form to your airline - and make sure you keep a copy for yourself.

      I'm probably going to go through someone like airhelp.com or another site though because I don't trust my paper work to arrive. They get 25% of your take but that's a lot of ambition for them to do something.

    Seems like I just got lucky. Back in 2011 I had two great flights with Vueling from London Heathrow to Vigo and back during Easter break. Both flights only about 60% full, happy and helpful flight attendants, good legroom, clean plane, landed on time both ways, good food... At the time they were my favorite low cost airline, now I hear only bad things about them.

    I had something similar too: (31 May 2018)
    Originally booked on easyJet, flight to Amsterdam cancelled due to heavy fog in Southend. No biggie, it happens. Refund approved. They Handled it well.
    Re-book same day on Vueling, travel 2hrs to diff. Airport, go to check in (I couldn’t check in online as my passport was not Spanish) check in agents from a 3rd party say they cancelled due to “operational incident” In UK terms that means no staff. Rebooked AUTOMATICALLY to a flight on the 2nd of June (my return was on the 3rd). That was overbooked, got bumped to the 5th of June (past my return date) THAT WAS CANCELLED TOO. Refund was refused as they claimed I got to Amsterdam with them. (SPOILER: I DIDN’T)
    The check in agents (nice people put in a bad situation) were told by the airline, alternative travel would be refunded (NOPE). Thinking this I forked out £400 for a Eurostar train ticket for the next day.

    We had an overbooked flight and we were 7 in my group same situation as you connecting for Madrid to us next day from Rome. They sent us to malaga where we had to drive 7 hours to Madrid and we haven’t gotten our refund

    Last year I took a yellow unknown bus . But while the bus was going, the bus broke down. So that me and my family took the taxi to see my relatives. If my flight was so many hours to get to change airport, I would just give up and go home. So this is Yooshen.

      Thanks Seth. Funny you should mention that, my older brother recommended I try that. I used a chase sapphire card. I just spoke with a rep because it wasn't weather related, mechanical (it was a flight check in error at the airport) or a sky jacking (yeah that's a condition), I won't be covered for travel disruption.. That's good to know, if your plane gets hijacked and you're delayed they cover you for the inconvenience.

    I have no choice but to use them for the first time ever flying from Barcelona to Alicante-Elche. 1 hr 10 minute flight. But if they do mess up, im gonna find another way.

    I will never book with this airline again! I paid 50 euros for a check in bag and came to Italy Thursday. I just received the call that my bag will be delivered to my hotel tomorrow (Sunday) which is the day I leave to go back to China. I have never experienced this and yes the customer service is horrible. I almost missed my flight from Barcelona to Italy because there was no one to help me in the airport I literally walked in circles for hours. I’d rather take a day train to get to my destinations in the future.

    Yes.... And the flight is not even cancelled!
    - I can't check in....... I had to upload a form (Covid), and had to wait for the validation. I got a mail that it is validated and that I can do online check in.... but I can't. The website says the form is missing. But there is also no option to update it again, because it is validated.
    - I phoned customer sevice and after 20 minutes listening to a computervoice, the person says they can't help me over the phone. She says I have to wait in the cue on the airport by check in. Last time we did that in Barcelona and it was so stressful. There were only 2 counters open and our flight was already leaving, while we still had to drop off our luggage.
    - With this I am stressful I can even fly. I have to work the day after!
    - I dont have a lot of time so I really had wanted to check in online. I have a very early flight tomorrow (because Vueling changed 2 weeks before my flight (what i choose because it was in the evening going straight to an early flight with 4 hours stop over on Barcelona.) So now I have no other option than leaving that early, with this amount of uncertainty. NOT COOL!!!!!
    All together: no, never more!!!!! I have no words how customers are treated and I will be active in warning others.

    Kinda late, but I had a bad experience some weeks ago. I was at Hamburg Airport and waited for my flight to Barcelona. We came there and our flight was delaid for 15 minutes. After 3h nobody told us anything and nothing happened. It was scheduled for 11am and at 6pm we finally were allowed to board the plane. In the plane the staff gave everyone of the passengers 1ml of water. Then we needed to wait another 2 and a half hours inside the plane on the taxiway. After we finally landed in Barcelona it was 1am. So the guy at the gate told us to go to the vueling counter and they will get us a Taxi to our Hotel 80km away. So we went there. Then the girl at the counter told me, that they brought us to Barcelona so there part of the contract is over. So I got kinda angry and told her about my european union passenger rights and stuff. So they told us, that we can just sleep at the airport until the next bus arrives to Salou (our destination). After we waited 30min in the airport they startet to kick us out of the building. So we just ordered a taxi to Salou, wich cost us 170€ to get there. We arrived there at 4am and luckily some guy was at the reception of the hotel and waited for us. After our vacation we mailed the issue to Vueling. They just said, that they will transfer money to our bank account the next 14 days. Still havent seen any money... I would never every again fly with this airline!

    I would say that happens with every airline… And you don’t even know why that happened. There are procedures to follow and if it’s something technical it’s better to have a rescheduled flight than to have an accident…

    Delays are unfortunately part of our world. I travel about 10 times a year with them, never had any troubles. Totally understand where you're coming from though :)

    the worst airline companies, I Remember when I was in Manchester in last September in a flying connections to Barcelona, the Vueling Companies NEVER had personal attendant in the front desk to ask about for the late and the flying reprogram! Finally after 5 hours, we lost our flying to Barcelona because the flying were closed, it´s of crazy !!! we had to buy a two ticket more for 340 pounds more and nobody one was responsible of refund my money!!!

    I confirm. Not a bad company (planes, pilots, ground staff) but very very bad after-sales management in the event of an incident on their part ( that's the management policy not the workers fault )

    To be fair the Rome airport is one of the WORST airports I've ever been at, and it's not because of the interior, it's because of how long you have to wait to get to the hotel, taxi drivers there NEVER want to follow the rules. They always pick the tourist who travel by themselves and don't speak Italian so they can scam them. I have to wait roughly 2 hours before I arrive at my hotel.

    I remember back in April this year 2016 I was on a holiday in Venice as I come from Birmingham UK 🇬🇧 I flew with Monarch Airlines from Birmingham to Venice Marco Polo the flight was brilliant however five days later me and my nanny took a train 🚂 to Florence Italy 🇮🇹 another five days later we were going on vueling as when we got to the terminal we went to the check in desk and showed the staff our flight paper to Barcelona but she said that it was booked for the 28th March 2016 but we booked it on the 1st April 2016 as vueling messed up our flight to Barcelona then Barcelona to Birmingham my city so we went to the customer service and they said that they are going to put us on the next flight to London Gatwick a few hours later we boarded just fine the food was nice 👍 for me we did a smooth landing in London when we got into the terminal we went to vueling customer service and they still didn't know why we got put onto a flight to Gatwick we got at least four trains up to Birmingham City Centre we finally got there however luckily it wasn't raining it was a very nice sunset 🌅 from this very day we will not fly with that low cost airline again

    Once I was going to Morocco but the flight got cancelled just because one passenger had a gun onboard plus he got arrested no need to cancel the flight!

    The end of the video makes no sense at all. A technical defect could happen at any airline and every flight at any time. That's no reason to say don't ever book vueling.

    Never had any problem with Vueling. Maybe it would have been easier if you was not to cheap to let your phone not connect to the European providers.

    okay but dont forget about reviews of our greatest airlines called getjet airlines and its my favourite airlines
    cause they have the best snacks best main food and drinks

    I understand. I never fly any american airline. Normaly Vueling is far much much much better than any one in the US.
    By the way. I haven't flown Vueling once but dozens. Usually perfect experience

      You should be fine. If there's any issue where your flight gets moved to the next day or cancelled just don't wait in line like me. Get your bags and get a hotel and figure out the next move. They won't help you at the airport.

    from the comments its seems direct flights are no problem but they struggle to keep up with connecting flights, everyone who ive spoken to about vueling have had a great experience i fly with them september we will soon see lol

    when I bought their airline tickets to Barcelona, I mistakenly clicked to receive their marketing emails. Guess what? can't get rid of them:) Each email, there is an option to unsubscribe, but this function doesn't work. It acted like it works, but emails keep sending:). Yep, they're the worst.

    Man! I wish we had seen this video before flying this TRASH airline. Of course, ours was booked through American as a connecting flight so we wouldn't have known until it was too late anyway, and as a result of our experience, we won't be flying American either. If these are the kinds of partners they want to have, then we can do without them. We got to the Florence airport at 9:30 for a 1:40 flight to Barcelona and there was a line of ppl waiting to check in for their 11:50 departure. We had to get in line to check in with them because of course they won't let you do it online. The check in agents did not even show up til 10:15 and 10:30 respectively (yes, two agents for what was now 2-3 planeloads of people). It took us between 2.5 and 3 hrs to check in. Then, I was forced to check my carry on. We had an overnight layover in Barcelona on our way home to the US, and I told the agent I couldn't check my bag to my destination because of that. She made sure I had a copy of my claim ticket and a photo backup AND THAT should have been a clue for what was coming. The plane was at the gate, but the flight was delayed an hour (no explanations). Then, once on the plane, there was more delay, and then we were told the plane was too heavy (because of Florence's short runway--an issue the airlines KNOW ABOUT!!). They kicked one family off the plane, moving them to a later flight. When they asked about their luggage, they were told it would be removed from the plane. We arrived in Barcelona, went to baggage claim, waited 20 minutes, and then there was an announcement over the PA system to go to another section of baggage claim. Once there, we were informed by airport personnel that Vueling never put ANY of the bags on the plane. The cowards didn't even have the guts to tell us to our faces they screwed us. I still do not have my luggage and their "delayed baggage" system is completely non-responsive. From my perspective, they never intended to load any luggage on the plane and LIED to us when they checked our bags. Had I been given the option to take a train back to Venice and fly out from there--even at my own expense--I would have preferred that to not having my luggage. I haven't dealt with a company that has this staggering level of contempt for their customers. They don't deserve to stay in business. I will NEVER fly this trash airline again.

    Avoid vueling AT ALL COST. They are horrible. Even their reservation system sucks. Constant "please try later". You are quite right, it's the worst airline in Europe, in my opinion. Ryanair is better option but even better NORWEGIAN AIRWAYS. Always book Norwegian whenever you can, even if it's marginally more expensive (which mostly it's not), the service at Norwegian is great. The website works really well. Their planes are NEW (brandnew) and not just repainted old planes from Vueling's Iberia. Just compared flights Vueling / Norwegian from Gran Canaria to Barcelona and Berlin, and Norwegian was CHEAPER nearly all the time. And service is just so much better. NORWEGIAN AIRLINES is the way to go.

      I do understand you're disappointment and shock since you're American and used to way different standards. To me this situation doesn't even seem so unusual. It happens (in Rome). [By a north Italian who just lived in Rome for three years]

    Yes WORST AIRLINES. My Flight got cancelled and they lost my luggage too. No Response till now .. At first they told they have found it. Then after some days when i called they told no they havent..I doubt they would ever refund my expenses.

      ashutosh deo I went on this airline 2 days ago and we had 2 emergency landings IN THE SAME DAY 1-engine failure and second was with the ac that could had messed with the pressure of the cabin and we had to go back to the airport

    I had an experience with the most rude person I ever met in my life a so called cabin attendant Aida on Vueling many years ago.. On a flight Madrid to Lisbon. Thanks to her I never ever have flown Vueling again. And will never!! Not even for free!! Thank to the European Commissions watchdog they got a heavy fine not long ago. Beware, some Iberia flights are being operated by....the airline of Yukkkk and...Aida!!

    Well... In that case, why did you took a low cost career if you had choice with other airlines like Alitalia or Iberia? Low cost garentee you low cost prices, not high customer services and when you book the ticket you know that, so you are loosing your time complaining about this
