I agree. With a car this expensive you'd expect it to have a v12 or hybrid engine but instead it has a twin turbo flat 6 from a Porsche. This car would get smoked by a nearly 10 year old Bugatti or any of the 3 hyper cars. There are so many other super cars you could buy that out perform this for a fraction of the cost. The quality is not worth the 3.4 million if you ask me

Personally, I like the agressive design. And the interior, while probably absolutely impractical, is awesome. The price is simply and solely due to exclusivity and I´m not sold on that at all. Not than I could afford to buy one anyway but I´d prefer something like a Koenigsegg at that price range.

I agree, it does look great, and the exclusivity of it is not to mention where it's made makes it 3.4 million. But wouldn't you be a little pissed buying a car that expensive and finding it's has a Porsche motor, you should expect the height of engineering looking at it, but the stole the drivetrain from Porsche, and assumed it's performance numbers. It strikes me as a shined up turd and a real disappointment after seeing it.

This car sounds and looks like shit. If you were hell bent on spending that money, with 3.4mil you could buy a Lamborgihini Aventador SV (500k), Porshe 918 spyder (850k), Mclaren P1 (1 mil), and a Ferrari Ferrari (1.1mil). All of which hypercars which are higher quality than this garbage.

Since none of you seem to know much about the automobile industry, let me break it down for you in simple terms. The cost of a vehicle is not just the cost that it took to build that one individual car... There are many other variables at hand. One of the biggest contributors to the price a consumer pays for a vehicle, is development. The length of time it takes to create a car from scratch is a huge factor in the price of the car. Take Koenigsegg for example, it took them two years to create their One:1 car. Those two years they didn't sell any One:1 vehicles because it wasn't finished... They make up a lot of the cost by charging near three million dollars because they need to cover all of their costs and pay all of their employees for the work they did over that two year period. By the way these are not super cars, they are hyper cars; and many of these companies, like Koenigsegg, produce very little cars to begin with, so they have very little steady revenue. Also, they assemble everything by hand, unlike every other major manufacturer who uses assembly lines. Hope this helped.

IMO, The whole lykan thing is pretty much a scam. I don't think this even performs anywhere close to its specs.
The 0-60mph is 2.8 seconds, which is shameful for a 3.5 million dollar car. The E1 Supercar does 0-60 in 1.8 seconds, and is only about $200,000 USD. Also, the Lykan is rear wheel drive only -- which is ridiculous for a car this expensive. Both the Huracan and E1 are AWD, which probably accounts for the much better 0-60 times on street tires.

The body lacks a bit of refinement due to all of the sharp angles. But, it is a new design and shows a lot of potential. It takes a lot of money, telant and time to run all of the development in a project such as this. I applaud all of the talented people who got the car to this point. I am a road racer (track only) and would need to spend a day with it to give an opinion. But, looks good, and a boxer engine is a good place to start. Good luck!
