Great video ❤❤❤ Thank you ❤️
Love your videos 🙂👍 I've tried growing beetroot in well draining sandy raised beds, I've tried growing in containers with 100% compost but whatever I do they always remain juvenile plants, not growing taller than a finger and never producing a root - even after a whole year! Any tips? Thank you
Hi, thank you for watching! That's a strange one. Few things, you might already be doing these but hope it helps.
If growing in containers make sure they're at least 12 inches deep and wide.
Make sure seedlings are thinned to about 3-4 inches apart so each plant has enough room to develop.
Try feeding if you haven't already, we just launched Allgrow that might be perfect for your needs: www.envii.co.uk/garden/envii-allgrow/
Check if there are any pests or diseases, beetroot can be quite susceptible to aphids!
Final thing is variety, maybe experiment with different varieties and you might find that some work better for your growing conditions than others!
Good luck
🙂
