Neverland had a feel good ending. Nikke doesn’t like it when you feel too good for too long.
@@xavierharkonnen1698 Can't have too much feel-good in a post-apocalyptic war setting. However, too much doom and gloom makes it nihilistic in nature. I think the ending to this event of Scarlet's may be somewhat sombre with a bittersweet event.
And thus the mystery of the missing sister is resolved.
Just like the Korean fairytale they're based on.... although the ending there is just as tragic in a different way.
I like how on JP she's called 'Gurren' instead.

I can see this as a bittersweet type of event. We had a silly fun type of Halloween event, We have had a close-call event where everything worked out introducing Tove. (Off-topic but I can almost see Ludmiller grumbling "Why do I always get some of the craziest nuts?" When she is having a bad day.) We had a fun Christmas event. So now it is time for an event to be Bittersweet.
You were pretty on the mark about the new event, but it's a little more on the sadder side :
This looks amazing. To me, any event about the past of the Goddesses is the best NIKKE has to offer. Young Rapunzel event next year, pretty please?

Some people assume that this is just fan service, but there's a lot to it. It has surprisingly pretty emotional scenes, fun gameplay and a really good soundtrack.
As if we don't have enough NIKKEs with traumatising or sad back stories

Here is a gacha game with shrexy waifu characters (Kind of combining the cybernetic organisms from Terminator and the Cybermen from Doctor Who.) with large guns fighting killer robots. Sike! This is a war story that will engross you in horror and tragedy of how the Nikke's are treated by those who need them most. And certain people in positions of power will make you suffer if they can for selfish reasons.
My favourite Nikke in her own event to start the year, I cannot wait to play this. I adore Scarlet so much, thank you Shift Up and the symbolism in this PV is astounding; I've watched it so many times. Happy New Year Commander's, a toast to thee!

Just finished the story of Rose ans Scarlet. I was so great ! I loved it Wow. The art, the music, so good but the story was something, simple but very well-written with conflictual feelings and high stake, a lot of frustration and sadness and made us love even more the characters.
