So a while ago Snow was signed to Atlantic records, but they wanted to promote her more on the sexual way but that wasn’t Snow’s so she didn’t accept it. Atlantic records ended up shelving Snow, they continued to make Snow to write songs in hopes to one day get her work out but they never did. While keeping Snow’s songs, Snow asked to be dropped from the label and they did end up dropping her. Only after making her sign an NDA and pay her contract back, the song in question is “ Bodak Yellow” I remember once, Snow got asked if she wrote it but she made it known that because of the NDA she’s not allowed to say anything. i don’t think she wrote for Cardi B but instead since Atlantic owned Snow songs, they allowed her to used some of Snow’s music specifically at the beginning.

Just to clarify that google translation: El lloron means “Cry Baby” lol
the song is basically about her getting over a fresh break up and coming out on top, partying and drinking with her friends while he’s still crying. Basically saying this time SHE’S gonna be the one sending him to hell & he’ll always be known as “the cry baby”
