- In this video, I show you and tell you how to factory reset an Epson ET-2760 wireless all in one printer. It is very useful to know how to do this because you might want to do it if your printer isn't working properly and you can;t find a solution or if you plan on selling it in the future in order to make it completely fresh for the next person that will be using it. The process is extremely simple, and I show you exactly how to do it with some easy to follow step by step instructions.

My printer wouldn't print, couldn't scan ... I called Epson and was told to bring in for repair.
I brought it in to Epson for repair, I was charged to replace the ink pad reserve because they said it was defective (still had 68% capacity), and the printer still did not work. Epson told me the print head is not working. Epson will fix it but it would cost almost the price of a new printer.
The repair person (Epson's contractor) asked me to leave my Epson ET2760 because it wasn't working. He said he could used it for parts. I said no. I took it home.
I did what you said to do. I "restored to default settings except network settings" and now my printer is working! Wonderful tutorial ... quick and simple, took 2 seconds to do what you said. Awesome! Thank you.
Im scared to do it to my printer I already did the power cleaning and also cleaned the print head and cartridges but now no ink is flowing into the ink cartridges only black is working fine, I keep running the nozzle check but its not working.

This resets all settings to default. This is NOT the same thing as a "Factory Reset."
When you first turn this printer on there's a walk-through for setup that asks if you want to use the Epson Smart Panel software on your mobile device to set it up. Using your method here does not bring that option back upon resetting - hence why it is NOT a "factory reset."
There's a way to completely set the machine back to factory settings where it's prepared for an entirely new user as if it was just taken out of the box. When you find it, please post THAT video, and in the mean time, change the name of your misleading video.

Why don't you add how long this reset is expected to take. I am doing this and it is taking fricken forever. As such I am not sure if it is working at all.

My options don't go to 10, only to 8 and I do not have that option on my 2760.

me too, I am told I have a paper jam. There is no paper jam. It is wrong. I have tried everything. have resorted to banging the shit out of my printer, surprisingly even that didn't work, usually it does!!
