I cry every time I hear this song. It expresses how we all as Americans should be eternally grateful to our brothers sacrifice for our freedom and also recognize the sacrifice of those who wait at home make to support those who defend our country for every man woman and child. Blessings and Honor to them all.

Home Free is an outstanding A Capella group. All their songs are 100% all voices. Here's a cheat sheet on the group: Adam Rupp, co-founder of HF and beatboxer. Tim Foust, bass. He has a five-octave range. Robb Lundquist (beard) Tenor Harmony. Austin Brown, Lead Tenor. Adam Chance, Baritone ( goes by Chance). Chance replaced Chris Rupp (co-founder) who left in 2016. Check out some of their other songs. They can be silly and serious like the one you just reacted to, but their talent is unwavering. Their version of this song is near and dear to my heart. We just played it for my dad's funeral last October. My mom was presented his flag.

Home Free is an “a cappella” band and are so good. They sing a lot of covers but also write and sing their own songs. This is a beautiful song that Vince Gill wrote. The boys did a great job. I loved inserting Amazing Grace into it. Loved the video too. We got a flag for my Dad too. Bless you. Home Free is really good if you want to hear more of them.

You should listen to more Home Free they do alot of Cover songs. They are the only all male A Capella Country Band. 100% all vocal no instruments. They're Amazing, you will not regret it if you listen to more of their songs. Suggestions When a Man Loves a Woman, End of the Road, How Great Thou Art, just a few of their over 140+ songs. Thanks for your thoughts hope you weren't let down.

They are the most best groups out there I can't believe that they are that good. I like better than any other kind of music, but that's me I do like a lot of different kind of music but in my book they are the best. Penintonics is another group like home free but I think home free is better by a lot.

  • @GaiaOne
    @GaiaOne Před 2 lety +7

And...another couple falls down the rabbit hole. You are so fucking doomed. We'll save you chairs.
You're about to be drowned in Home Fries.
Your next listen should probably be Man Of Constant Sorrow. Gives a good overview of the men and their voices.
Home Free is the only country a capella group out there, but they can - and do - sing every genre. And they have no lead singer. Every one of these men can take the lead, and they pick the lead for each song by who does it the most justice. During quarantine, they kept all us Home Fries sane by dropping new videos every couple of weeks. Amazing.
All the men can beat box, but Adam is in a league of his own. He's a two-time world champion and there're good reasons he's called a "Freak of Nature" and the man who swallowed a drum kit. For more of Adam's incredible beat boxing, check out Sea Shanty medley (the man makes castanets, for Pete's sake), his no-harmonica harmonica solo on Working For A Living, and his drum solos.
For more of Tim's seismic basso profundo, listen to Brothers In Arms, Misty Mountains (his collaboration with Peter Hollens), Folsom Prison Blues, or Ring Of Fire (the Sing Off version).
For Chance's smooth baritone, check out Down to the Honky Tonk, Brothers In Arms, and Folsom Prison Blues. (Awesome. A basso profundo and a baritone/bass in the same group.) FYI, Chance is singing (throat singing) the jaw harp sounds - without the jaw harp - in Man Of Constant Sorrow.
For Rob's smooth soul, check out End of the Road, Blue Ain't Your Color, or Bless The Broken Road. (Blue-eyed soul is in good hands with The Beard.)
For Austin's soaring tenor, check out Moonshine, When A Man Loves a Woman, or Bring Him Home. (But bolt down your chair ‘cause he'll sing you right out of it.)
For their humor, check out Butts Remix, Working For A Living, Make You Feel My Love, and Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget.
For their amazing arrangement skills, check out Do You Hear What I Hear. (Adam's arrangement. Nothing else like it.)
For their tight harmonies, check out Helplessly Hoping, How Great Thou Art, Brothers In Arms, or Auld Lang Syne.
For their mashups, check out Thinking Out Loud/Let's Get It On, Fishing in the Dark/Boondocks, Country Fried Pop, or Woman, Amen/Female.
For more of their wonderful collaborations, check out God Bless the USA with Lee Greenwood, American Pie with Don McLean, Elvira with The Oak Ridge Boys, or Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For with Peter Hollens.
Get at least five videos under your belt and then listen to Mayday - the official video.
Their synergy is phenomenal. Each is an artist in his own right, but man - when they sing together, magic happens. Wicked talent polished by decades of hard work. (Unchained Melody, Castle On The Hill, Seven Bridges Road) To paraphrase another Home Fry, “They don't just own a cover, they upgrade it.”
You are doomed, Home Fries. Bring ketchup.

If you would like to listen to some clean comedy, Tim Hawkins is hilarious! He has some funny bits on parenting as well that you might appreciate as parents. :) He also does some music in his comedy which are parodies of actual songs. You can look up "Tim Hawkins Parenting Songs" and get a pretty good compilation of some of his parenting songs.
