I wish you would have delved a little bit deeper into this so although we don't do it ourselves we know where, for instance the burner is located. How it should be accessed. This way, when someone starts taking things apart they should have to take that area apart. I'm tired of techs making more of an issue to rack up labor hours or to know they actually did the work they say they've done.

The lack of quality with which travel trailers are manufactured is a disgrace and shameful & 2nd in line comes the dealers who fawn over you until you sign the contract & extended warranty then when you need to use that warranty its worse than getting all your teeth pulled at once at the dentist. Those RV recipients after Hurricane Katrina that toold horror stories about those trailers falling apart and all the problems after just 6 months were not exaggerating and we all thought they were just ungrateful pigs. Its shameful their should be some kind of regulations like with cars to do something about it

Hello I have a question if someone could possibly answer it for me. Can't find anyone on CZcams with the exact problem my dometic or Atwood RV furnace works and is fully functional however I smell gas in the cabinet where it is located does that mean the gas valve needs to be replaced or is there another issue? Thanks

It would be impossible for me to troubleshoot this problem without physically being there. But, if you smell LP gas I strongly recommend you get it looked at by a reputable RV service facility prior to using the LP gas system again.

@@rveducation101 thanks for the reply but I actually replaced the gas valve and that was the issue 🙂
