It’s a shame but it’s clear there’s a massive grude against Eubank as Nick was dubbed the “next biggest thing” and his whole career was taken away from him. Hard for the young lad to accept in his prime. Truly feel for him and what a shame the people around him didn’t protect him and let him spar again. He is a completely different person now. Bless him

Nick was a good domestic level fighter and was tough as anything but he wasnt dubbed as that and eubank was the favourite going into the fight with Blackwell. But I do agree it was hard for him to just walk away and that's why he ended up sparring again and going back into a coma and now has definite worst neurological issues then he did here where he was pretty much back to normal
Nick said alot before the fight he brought saunders and fury into the ring to intimidate him

He told him to go to the body because he couldn’t stop him to the head even after landing 100+ punches “hit the body the tree will fall” nothing to do with compassion at all he didn’t know Blackwell was in the middle of suffering a bleed to the brain he just wanted junior to stop him. Piers was being a prick with nick due to his long-standing friendship with senior
Bullshit, he’s said afterwards it was due to his own experiences. Snr has always been seen to be a compassionate man so where’s your evidence he’s lying. Ultimately his own corner failed him and should take responsibility and I am sure deep down they do

If he was concerned he would have said threw the towel or have said don’t throw the uppercut. He didn’t he could see that he wasn’t finishing him to the head

@@queensberryrulez5306 he clearly says hit the body the tree will fall it was for juniors first title (British) he wanted Blackwell out of there referee stoppage or KO he wanted the win nothing to do with compassion why after him hitting him in the head for 10 rounds did he say it why not 4 rounds previously when Blackwell was still taking a beating? He’s not a mind reader nobody especially him expected it to happen to nick there’s fighters that have took less punishment and ended up disabled there’s also fighters that have took more and fought again within 6 months
