The apple pencil usb-c and the apple pencil 1st gen are compatible with this iPad. The apple pencil 2 gen is not.

nope the usb-c apple pencil is compatible with the iPad 10th gen.

The USB C one is too, but it doesn't have pressure sensitivity.

yes! you can download some note taking apps (notability & goodnotes) & it runs smoothly so i would recommend.

Yes! it’s very pricey because I got the cellular option, 256 gb, and the apple pencil usb-c so it was around $720

It’s really good so far. Perfect for editing and simple task. If you’re looking for something for art I would recommend the iPad Air/Pro.
