Hi Debbie, for the record i'm male.... i suppose most of your subscribers are female I do agree with others, you are clear and concise with no mumbling and stuttering.... straight to the point and organised... I have watched quite a few videos as i was looking for a roman blind with a pelmet of some kind. Flat and padded...no fuss ....."can you help"? l am a fairly experienced using a sewing machine... If you don't want to use glue on elastic, sew a quick hand-basting stitch in contrasting color and remove after securing with machine. Also you could use Velcro to attach the makeup bag to center to make it removeable (soft side on the bag).

Hi, fab tutorial, as usual. Is it possible to make the pattern bigger so the standalone bag is longer? I am assuming so, but knowing me, there’ll be something I haven’t thought of!😊

Another fabulous project Debbie xx Just wondering, would it maybe work to add velcro to the bottom of the bag and base so that you could remove the bag to use on it's own if you chose to? xx

You make it all look so easy. We don't find iron on fleece easily here, I have temporary sprat adhesive, in your opinion could I use that to attach the fleece. I don't suppose it would mater if it washes away once the bag is all sewn up. I am trying to avoid quilting.

I love that bag in the background at the beginning of the video. Do you have a link to the pattern / video instruction for that bag?

Thanks for nice video. Would you agree that if I could find a fabric with vinyl on the back, I wouldn't need to sew any lining?

    • @debbieshore

For the zipped section? That may work!

  • @dympnavarian9577

Hi Debbie, I couldn’t square the corners because one ever I inserted the zip it reduced the size of the sides.
    please advise. Dee

  • @caroltaylor-white9464

What size is the fabric for the base part?
