to bypass the rule, we use cash only accounts, no margin. Simple and no problem when just using cash, you can trade as long as you want or until you've used all your cash.

Right, "until you've used all your cash"... that IS a problem. In other words, "you don't get to trade as much as you want, you can only trade in the amount of cash you have"...
