Now if you find something that is a similar size and a similar shape to your lips around your house than yeah you can safely do it. AS LONG as you do it in small intervals.

I have always wondered what the long-term effect will be on the lips! The same goes for facial injections like repeated botox and Juvederm injections!! It seems like if a person got injections for years then had to quit getting them their skin would wrinkle and sag way worse than if they left their face alone! Its seems once you start those procedures you would have to keep it up for the rest of your life.

I know this is meant to be safer because its rubber and everything... but my issue with this Kylie Jenner trend stuff was never whether or not the bottle or shot glass was going to cut me... it was that you are purposely swelling up your lips to make them look "plumper", but basically you are making them swollen... that can't be good for them surely?
Actually what this is doing by swelling them is by making the blood flow to the lips. It's really not all that dangerous, these practices have been going on forever, and not just with lips. If women message their breasts frequently or have somoen handling them alot via intimacy, they actually increase in size because of the blood flow.
So it's just a card of using something that draws the blood into the lips thrue suction. Anything that you have that's the size of your lips but can be squeezed so that the air is removed from inside the container will work because It's the suction from the air being removed is what causes the blood to flow into the lips which is what makes it work. Keep this in mind when you are out and about,, whether it's at home or out shopping. Just look for something that you can put over your lips and can be squeezed enough to remove the air from it so that you get a decent suction. Just ensure that the part that goes over your lips isn't too big that you create duck bill lips! At least with this method you haven't forked out a fortune and it will be gone in the morning. BUT a word of warning ... Be careful that you don't overdo it and end up bruising your lips!

I'm not being negative by no means but from my understanding this has to be done daily? So you are still stretching the skin whether you do it daily or once every 3- 4 months with injections so you are still causing pre-aging to your skin. It's my understanding that Vaseline is not a moisturizer. Apparently it's molecules are too large to be absorbed by our skin, and instead sits on top of it. For this reason it's best used as a barrier to protect the skin. Examples are protecting from hair dye staining on ears, forehead and neck or from the elements, like while skiing etc. to prevent windburn. XO

Go Away the suction is breaking the vessels under your skin and your lips are filling up with blood. It causes permanent damage and basically traumatizes your lips. You can use it, but it should never be an everyday use

lol no you're not. Why have Asians been doing "cupping" therapy for 100000s of years? Would they not all have nerve damage? If you're a Dr. than you should know why this works and other random stuff doesn't but since I doubt you are a Dr. I will educate you. The reason people were fucking up their lips was because they were using things that had too much negative space in them. In order to do this in a healthy way you need to use something that you lips can "fill" without very much space. When you use something like a gatorade bottle or a large cup all that negative space is pulling your lips because the suction is trying to fill that negative space with your lips. Now if you find something that is a similar size and a similar shape to your lips around your house than yeah you can safely do it. AS LONG as you do it in small intervals.

Just because someone from China or wherever says something works does not make it so. They also eat weird shit like bear penis for health purposes. I have always wondered what the long-term effect will be on the lips! The same goes for facial injections like repeated botox and Juvederm injections!! It seems like if a person got injections for years then had to quit getting them their skin would wrinkle and sag way worse than if they left their face alone! Its seems once you start those procedures you would have to keep it up for the rest of your life.

I know this is meant to be safer because its rubber and everything... but my issue with this Kylie Jenner trend stuff was never whether or not the bottle or shot glass was going to cut me... it was that you are purposely swelling up your lips to make them look "plumper", but basically you are making them swollen... that can't be good for them surely?

Actually what this is doing by swelling them is by making the blood flow to the lips. It's really not all that dangerous, these practices have been going on forever, and not just with lips. If women message their breasts frequently or have somoen handling them alot via intimacy, they actually increase in size because of the blood flow.
This is just the "Kylie Jenner lip challenge" but just with a brand name slapped on top of it to take people's money....

So it's just a card of using something that draws the blood into the lips thrue suction. Anything that you have that's the size of your lips but can be squeezed so that the air is removed from inside the container will work because It's the suction from the air being removed is what causes the blood to flow into the lips which is what makes it work. Keep this in mind when you are out and about,, whether it's at home or out shopping. Just look for something that you can put over your lips and can be squeezed enough to remove the air from it so that you get a decent suction. Just ensure that the part that goes over your lips isn't too big that you create duck bill lips! At least with this method you haven't forked out a fortune and it will be gone in the morning. BUT a word of warning ... Be careful that you don't overdo it and end up bruising your lips!
People don't do this because God made you the way you are so don't try to change your looks to fit in this world. You are great and beautiful the way you are so don't try to be someone else or try to look like someone else.

I'm not being negative by no means but from my understanding this has to be done daily? So you are still stretching the skin whether you do it daily or once every 3- 4 months with injections so you are still causing pre-aging to your skin. I wish I could post a picture to show you an ex- friend of mine and how old she looks from do minimum injections before the age of 50yrs old. Please hear me as I have medical degrees and of course make- up artist/cosmotologist, one time professional model (school) & several other trades! Please hold to your beauty; we all differ and wish we looked like Barbie but this isn't worth the long run. It's my understanding that Vaseline is not a moisturizer. Apparently it's molecules are too large to be absorbed by our skin, and instead sits on top of it. For this reason it's best used as a barrier to protect the skin. Examples are protecting from hair dye staining on ears, forehead and neck or from the elements, like while skiing etc. to prevent windburn. XO
