My family is incomplete without my mom , i lost her in 2017 but even today is as of she still on mutuary, i have no one i was her only child , i need you mama RIP
@PoleloKotsane being an ONLY child and Losing a MOm is not easy, rather light a candle and remember the good times you had the advice she shared with you. She is still around you today. Make sure her legacy lives on through the lessons in life she has taught you. share those lessons with your children, cousins, aunts, and uncles. this New Year's Day ... prepare lunch with loved ones and celebrate the life of your Mom. May your Mama be there to guide and protect you!
I hear you, child of the universe. Mum will always be there for you. Be strong! Stand firm for Mama!

Am a Namibian and I just heard this song at my uncles funeral last year 2022 “I don’t understand the language but it’s so emotional “God your will is done but it’s hurtful at times”I dedicate this song to my dad in heaven and everyone’s that left this planet “May their soul continue to rip 💔💔
This song deserves to be African national anthem, I’m a Malawian but I grow up listening to these legends they must continue resting in peace they made Africa proud
Vusi is a living legend it’s not wise to be calling them legends when they are dead we must appreciate their talents now
True, to all the brothers and sisters in this beautiful continent lost to war, conflict, disease and famine.😔Asphelelanga.
Hendrix Chimalizeni I was with him a couple of weeks ago. This song is so good yet so sad at the same time. ♥️
When i discover a new song i put it on repeat until the singer requests for water.
EDIT: from zambia didnt get a single word sang but the song is on repeat. RIP AKA 🙏

Very true!! The song is very spiritual to say the least. How many of these legendary and great Africans have we lost, globally? Brings tears to my eyes when I think about the struggles of the black man 😥

Am a Ghanaian and i just heard this song on Dstv...I don't understand a word but i fell inlove with the song immediately. You guys are amazing with music🇬🇭🥰🇿🇦
Basically, it is a tribute song..It says there aren't enough of us here.. then it lists names of great fallen south African musicians. Lucky Dube, Hugh Masekela , Mandoza, Miriam Makheba, Doctor Malinga, Ray Phiri, Brenda Fassie
All the way in Zimbabwe, I just love the song and the appreciation you have shown to the late stars 😍😍Xhosa attires are the bomb
This song... AMAZING!!!! It's not about Xhosas or any ethnic group. Its about those legendary African brothers, sisters, mums, fathers, cousins, aunts, nieces, nephews and all the loved ones the Motherland has lost through departure from this physical realm. As the song says, we are not complete without these children of the soil, and they are numerous to be called by name. The good news is, the lady ululates and calls upon us as a black nation to "raise up" all these legends by honouring them, taking off from where they left, whatever their legendary path was, each one of them. Their spirit is waiting for the black woman and man to take up the mantle, and walk in their paths raising them up as we do so. The departed spirits are waiting on us to take action, move on and bring greatness to Africa again! This song is very spiritual and is embued with the spirit of our ancestors. Let's revive them!
"... Bavuseni madoda baphakame bavavwe
Baziseni kaloku sibaxhawule
Nibombhes'ingubo
Nibaxway'umthika
Nibanik'itshoba
Bombhelelen'ingoma
Ningabadlel'indlala
Ibingamanxil'engoma
Omathand'uncuthu lweengoma okwelunga lwegwaba
Iimvumi ebezintyiloza zindyondya
Kutsho kutshilwe, kutshotshwe, kungqungqwe, kungqushelwe intab'egqirha
Neyegqwirhazana... "
I have said my peace, with tears rolling down my face with emotions!
(By the way I'm a Bantu and my ethnicity is Xhosa)!
I am so damn proud to be a Xhosa....and his homegirl for that matter.
When ever I miss my brother who I was so close with... I play this song over and over.... i will cry so hard cause i know that i lost a close brother who loved me and made me feel that I do have a brother who cares a lot about me and so protective of me... may your soul rest in peace my big brother.

I am not South African, but I recognise all the legends they are praying tribute to. That can mean only one thing----South African legends=Southern African legends.
Dedicated to my mother and all those we have lost along the way, till we meet again.
Missing someone in heaven is a different kind of pain❤️🙏🏿. Continue resting grandma.
Great combination on this song. And I just love how sisi Jesicca dresses and isiqhova sakhe (her duke) is always on point. Proudly Xhosa❤❤❤❤
XHosa culture I. Proud to be on of the xhosa people I love being who I am
No no no no no no no!!!! How a song could be awesome like this? Thumbs up from Rwanda oh 🇿🇦
From the first time I heard this song on idol, I immediately went on iTunes and downloaded the whole album. As a Zimbabwean by birth It reminds me of home. I’m thankful you have shown the true African culture and honoured those who contributed to it. Love from the UK ❤️❣️
I am Zimbabwean but this Song is HOOOOT....Thank you for such incredible talent. We loved all the people who passed on. Jessica girl!!!!!......that language is rich!!!!
To my late grandma, aunt and momma ... life aint the same without you..asphelelanga here at home without y'all 🕊🐾🌹🕯
This is beautiful! I missed Johnny Clegg in it, our white Zulu. A beautiful tribute to those who deserve to be remembered always in the heart. Never forgotten
Being half xhosa makes me even more proud because of this particular song who has so much emotion poured into it
I really love this song... no idea, what his saying ( I think I get that it’s a tribute to all the fallen legends). But when the chorus comes in I sing along at the top of my lungs- I’m from Namibia
Thats the beauty of Music hey, especially African music it transcends culture
I love this song. I wish I could speak Xhosa. With love from Uganda 🇺🇬
Why do people always have to say "I am this, I am that" as if that should mean something big? We are all kinsmen! Music is a universal language. We may be different here and there but we all came from one source. This is an incredible song...Being Zulu/Sotho, Namibian/Malawian/Zimbabwean etc. is not really important here...It's music...it speaks to the heart, not to a social construct
I found myself crying, I can't explain what happened but this touched my soul in the most profound way possible. To anyone who has lost a loved one, we are in it together. As'phelelanga without them around but we all still have each other.
I saw this song on my friends phone. I have no idea what it means but it da bomb!!! I'm a Nigerian but each time I hear the chorus. There's this joy that past heroes are remembered. It's officially my song of the month. P.S it's been on repeat since last week Thursday.😊😊😊. Much love from me to SA!
RIP to our African Legends ❤️❤️❤️ it's indeed Asphelelanga 😥
I can't help but cry South Africa lost a lot of great artists man ugh😭😭😭💔. This is beyond beautiful.
There can only be one King and its Mr Vusi Nova.....Africa doesnt deserve you.......you don't need to sing to heal hearts and mend broken souls....may God continue to bless you as you continue to bless.....and we do notice and appreciate inspiring new artists...only a king knows and understand that there's a room of success for everyone.
Listening from Dubai 😢 🇦🇪 🇿🇦
@@MUTHALANDTV I love you guys, you take me back home, its an emotional song and also turns me to be a more proud South African 🇿🇦
