Pop singer Banks was guest at JBTV studios to perform her single “Brain”. Originally from Tarzana, California, Banks began writing music as a teenager when a friend had given her a keyboard and used the music as personal release and because of that kept her music private for many years. Eventually she decided to make her music public by releasing a handful of singles in the last two years. In 2014 she continued to open up to the public with the release of her debut album, Goddess.

Oh my gosh I love this song. Her vulnerability, her pain,...she just sings from her heart. A true artist. The reason why she's not as famous yet as many people think she should be is it seems to me that she's more concerned about the integrity of her music than just selling records....but that's just me :)

sometimes when you're performing in live settings where microphones pick up everything and general acoustics are weird you have to use a pre recordes backing track, yea its a little weird but its still their vocals

Paul Hillbrand Yeah I know what you were getting at. But some people think its like 'cheating' or like lip syncing, but honestly its their vocals. Like performing live every night really takes its toll on you physically and with certain venues and stuff, its kinda just a given.
