The tall hedges surrounding some of the properties are a good privacy/security feature. Gorgeous area and the sun is shining in that beautiful blue sky.

I live in L.A. and never been up North past Sunset on Doheny Dr.. At times, I used to hang out on Sunset strip on Doheny in West Hollywood (not the gay parts) but where the heavy metal venues were in the mid 80's until '92 and some are still there today. Might go there for a drive this coming weekend and go past Sunset on Doheny? So much to see in our own backyard.... 👍👍

Hi Christophe, I've been following your channel for years now (by the way I'm 19 years old) and a long time ago I a told you in the comments section that when I moved to Los Angeles that I would not trust any other person but you to find my dream home, because I know you will have my best interest in mind, that still stands today. As a poor college student working very hard to fulfill my goals, I just want to say thank you from the deepest part of my heart for adding fuel to the fire of my dreams with your videos for the past few years. Now to the actual question (😂) When I first started following your channel there were a lot more House tour videos, which I really enjoyed, has there been a change of rules that prevent you from doing those, or is it that you really don't have enough time to do many of those? I could imagine you're a very busy man and it's quite convenient to do the driving tours considering the fact you can just film them on your way to your destination. Also could you make a video about how to get in the real estate business in Los Angeles? Thanks (sorry for rewriting the gospel in your comment section😂)

Christophe. I'm an amateur architect at heart (along with being a real life 6th grade teacher). I can remember in my youth driving through beverly hills, bel air and trousdale looking at homes with my grandmother. She enjoyed this as much as I did. I recently saw an episode where you drove by the former Danny Thoms home. I remember when that was first built. If memory serves it had a master bedroom and one guest room. My uncle, great uncle actually was Peter J. Pitchess, the former sheriff of L. A. County. A good friend of Danny Thomas. The sheriff was my grandmother's brother. Always a fun time with my "L.A." portion of the family.

I do a lot of work in the bird streets. I do heating and air. I get truly spectacular views everyday. Especially if I'm on Robin working on Francisco's new home. He owns the Vancouver kunucks hockey team. He has the best view up their. His infinity pool is fantastic and huge.
i wanted to know Mr Choo do you work with other famous realtors like Josh Altman from Million dollar LA? my favorite show by the way. man your videos are just awesome. it makes me want to live in LA. however what else it makes me want to do is live in those parts too lol. one of my dreams is to one day just take a drive down the famous Mulholland Drive in my Lamborghini lol. little things like that are some of my dreams.

Have you seen people moving away from/avoiding the Bird Streets now? I’ve been hearing that people are fleeing because the construction has become ridiculous up there.
I know you're a busy guy, but my favorite house is on Hercules drive. I believe the number is #22000 or #2200. House was in the Elvis movie " Live a little, Love a little". Built by a well known architect. He built many mid century homes. Was going for under 2 million several years ago. They remodeled and ruined it. But the houses up there are nice ..

Ozzy use to live in doheny as well. Was there many times. Beautiful piece of property . My dream house and goal in life is to purchase that house ozzy lived in. Not just because ozzy lived there, the location is prime, has cool pool, decent back yard, and the inside is just great unless Aguilera screwed it all up when she bought it. But it's my goal and dream.

Hello Christophe, I love your driving tours but the camera you are using has no or very bad anti shake technology. Please, please invest in a cell phone or camera with good or excellent anti shake technology so your viewers can enjoy your video's even more. This is especially evident because you drive one of the most smooth cars on the market (Mercedes S Class) and yet there is so much shaking on your videos. I can only image what your videos would look like if you were driving a lesser car!

Yes it is and one of the best of the bird streets.
8:40 Can you actually build a house at such a steep slope? I'd imagine it'd be difficult regarding land-slides and such.
Most of these are built on solid bedrock with caissons that go 50-70 into the stone.
CivilAviation1 -- That's the crazy I don't understand. You can't pay me a billion to build a house on a steep slope or a hill. No way!
Especially in an area that gets frequent earthquakes.

Which is better, the bird streets or the trousdale estates?
Trousdale is preferred as it is in the city of Beverly Hills with all of the city services.
Why, the steering wheel of those cars are turned right while they are parked???
On hillside streets you are require to turn your wheels to the curb or you can get a parking ticket.
So that if the car rolls owing to brake failure, etc., the curb can stop it instead of its rolling till it hits another vehicle or enters someone's yard or house.

What would you say if you were one of us who are in the 90 percent? Majority of us will never be able to afford any of them. I am having to sale most of my belongings so I don't end up back on the streets.
That must be really tough Randy, I do understand and just keep positive and moving forward. I understand the plight of homelessness and am a huge supported of Covenant House a youth homeless shelter and help them get off the streets! I hope things turn around for you!
@@Christophechoo Thank you for caring. Homeless population was tough when I lived there but from I have noticed the last couple of years, it has become a disaster. Since you are there, have you noticed more people who are homeless? I have to spend hours every day trying to sale most of my belongings so I don't end up back on the streets. It is getting worse In every major city in the country. Take care. I was making 32,000 a year 5 years ago, which was the most I ever made . Now trying to exist on less than a third of that. Know that they need to open more affordable rehab centers, improve the mental health system and have more affordable housing

I love the luxury real estate. Being from Greece I know how to appreciate luxury. I want to relocate in Manhattan USA what a better city. 432 park avenue was the best I saw but nothing close to the spectacular views of one 57. I haven't been in Beverly Hills and generally L.A. and don't know if I would like it. No winter no snow no luxury skyscrapers. Do you like New York City more than L.A.?
