- The recently preserved 'Transport Matters' from 1955 takes a look at how Wellingtonians got around. This was the decade when trams reached the end of the line and were replaced by trolleybuses. As the city again considers its best transport options, we tracked the old tram routes and filmed what it looks like today.
Ka tirohia te kiriata kātahi anō ka whakaukatia, arā ko ‘Transport Matters’ nō te tau 1955, te āhua o te hāereere o ngā tāngata o Pōneke. Ka mutu ngā mahi taramu i tēnei tekau tau kia kuhu mai ngā pahi hiko. E tirohia ana e te tāone nui nei ngā waka e tika ana mō ēnei wā, ana, ka whaiwhaitia e mātou ngā ara taramu tāwhito, ā, ka hopukina aua ara i ēnei rangi.

Still think its criminal to have abandoned a perfectly good trolleybus network. Useless bunch.
