It's interesting to see how useful the M113 APC still is. It has been dismissed as outdated and basically useless for years. But in situations like this, an armoured box on tracks is often a great tool to have. Obviously a Bradley or a Marder with their auto-cannons are more lethal. But something simple and rugged like an M113 is probably easier and cheaper to maintain and keep in the field. And therefore much more available.
Didn't know Russia was useing these Aluminium Deathtraps as claimed via "The Goebbles" Four Seasons (4) Mishmash Productions..(Hollywood)
The armor on the M113 is too thin. While it is better than nothing, the armor on the Bradley is much better.
The M113 is still highly useful in secondary roles like medical evacuation. In that role its lack of armor is helpful since it is both fast and maneuverable with less restrictions in terrain, bridges, etc.
You talk about this like this is Madden. We are all going to end up dead if both sides...dont stop.

The images of injured Ukrainian young men (badly injured) struggling to save their brothers is just heartbreaking to watch. I'm glad they were successful in getting that badly injured one out to get him medical attention. Drones have changed modern warfare big-time. American tanks and men in the on a future battlefield will need to come up with SERIOUS/EFFECTIVE counter-drone measures or else they will be destroyed just as easily as Ukrainian and Russian men/armor are being destroyed today.
Likewise, the American Navy and it's ships will be in big trouble.

Not really, NATO are not used to wars like this. Counter-insurgency and shock and awe are completely different styles of combat. In fact, the US and UK training of raw recruits are being blamed for the failing of the spring offensive by some Ukrainians. The best guys for this type of war are people experienced in it, and hardened Russian soldiers + Ukranians will be the most effective at the moment

The F-16 jets & training are provided by the Netherlands & a few other European nations. The Europeans are providing other military aid to the best of their ability. The problem is the U.S.A., which has dragged its arse since 2022 when it comes to providing the right kinds of equipment, weaponry & munitions in sufficient quantities, and, since October 1st, has ceased to provide any military aid to Ukraine.

Third soldier turn his head from wounded comrades, and bailed out.. 4:57 I think two wounded Orcs are aware they paid a small price for discovering how bad and disloyal the soldier they were teamed up with him is.. If this selfish guy gets wounded outside of tight cover during heavy and accurate shelling, no one will do anything to help him. It must be really messed up to "stay out of the group" when enemy artillery start pouring precision fire onto their sector.

Ukraine has lost quite few of its western tanks. Without air supremacy it is difficult for both sides to punch through mine fields and defensive lines with anti tank missiles. The M1 Abrams and Challenger are used more for ‘sniping’ over distances that the T-72 can’t handle or, like in this case, to go after vulnerable prey. The night vision is also better.

Remember that western powerful named tanks were designed in 70,80s. Others say russian tanks "space program" but any tank crew totally get impacted by powerful sound and concussion. in tank battle the one who saw first wins, autoloader requires not many crews and easy to fix and have very good mobility in forest mountians. I'd be surprised to see F16's in this war. Too expensive to lose, and air defences have made it impossible for either side to have air superiority. Still, as we say in chess, the threat is sometimes as effective as the execution. Why not threaten that we are training Ukrainians to fly them? This war is a war of economics. Who can fight the war effectively using the least resources. Cheap Iranian drones beat expensive patriot missiles due to cost, not effectiveness.
We dont need to go that deep, although thank-you for watching that stuff. War is always fought over resources. What we need to ask, is how do the economics of this proxy war filter down to us. Do you want Russia to keep hold of some of the earths most precious natural untapped resources, or do you want western corporations to control them?
