    I don't think we're that clean. It's a problem now cos the cleanliness is due to all the cleaners and cos of a small amount of inconsiderate people (which amount to a lot), if there are no cleaners, we're in trouble. We definitely need harsher laws.

    • @NewtoSingapore
      @NewtoSingapore  Před 11 dny +1

      Yes, definitely it's thanks to the cleaners! I feel people became complacent as it has been repeated too many time that "it's clean, it's clean" so people started making efforts cleaning after them thinking it would be cleaned anyway 🤷‍♀️

    I suspect that ure not connected to enough expats, many have left Singapore due to intolerable high costs. Expats want to live a life. Sporeans will never admit spore is expensive because they just stay at their parents HDB or HDB purchased in 90s, with their economic rice and they are happy already

    • @NewtoSingapore
      @NewtoSingapore  Před 9 dny +2

      Actually, my next video is about the reasons why expats live Singapore - high cost is not the only reasons there are plenty! But for the few of us that want to stay long term, yes we are happy with what we have found here!

      Do you think crime and gangs affect your daily life? What you mention is like extreme cases - the security we appreciate in Singapore is that there are only few "daily" crimes - like theft, street harassment...
