- Join me as I go Picking for Diecast at the market and the retail toy aisles. I picked up some great loose Hot Wheels this week and some cool cars on card. Market wasn’t very crowded so I decided to stop by a few stores to check out what’s on the pegs. Stick around for the haul and see what I picked... Happy Pickin!

i was born in 1989 and hot wheels were my favorite toy as a kid. it’s always fun to see models that i remember playing with as your browsing both the opened and carded sections at dave’s tables.

Don't let the Zuru Metal Machines fool you. They can go & out of the batch that they have right now, Escape (aka Bandit) & Bonfire are their fastest. Escape came in 3rd in my latest tournament. I hope Zuru makes more cars because at .79 that's a good buy & the quality is better than Maisto. I like Maisto but Zuru puts up a better fight on the race track.....

How long have you been collecting?? How much do you spend a week on HW?? I used to collect, till Mattel started putting out the same cars with a color change or a wheel change or tampos with a color change just so 'collectors' will buy them.
