- I dyed my natural red hair for the first time... Blonde!
I’ve been wanting to do this for a really long time now! The past years have been transformative in so many ways, I decided to commit to something big that serves as a reflection mark of where I’m at right now! Out with the old, in with the new!!!
I love fashion. I love beauty. I love modeling & yes I love doing my hair too. Please I will continue to do hair. It’s okay to evolve and it's okay to change. It’s so important that we experiment and try new things if we don’t we’ll never know.. & Y’all if my bleached hair falls off!!!!! Well then… IDC! it’ll grow back. you only live once. 😅 Listen, I’m gonna rock the shit outa pixie cut if I have to! Haha

Yep! A lot of people do highlift color not understanding how porous and fragile the hair becomes. It takes ALOT of conditioning to make sure it doesn’t disappear lol.

I'm all for experimenting and playing around with different colors. I do it. Regardless of wanting to change hair color, this process should not have been done in a day. These "hairstylists" did not have maintaining the integrity of your curls and hair as their main priority. Going lighter is a process that should be done in sessions with this hair type to avoid over-processing. Its giving damaged and over-processed. I have done the same thing to my hair in the past before finding a hairstylist (who became my best-friend) to tell me, "No, I can't do that in one session!"
The end result looks so good. I personally prefer natural Joyjah but you look good regardless.

@@novelacollectionI do agree, but as someone who bleaches their eyebrows nearly every week, I just put Vaseline and make the bleach paste thicker so It can’t drip in my eyes- it’s hard to mess up after that lol. As long as you’re not stupid you should be fine 😂

This reminds me of when my friend bleached my hair he didn't know what he was doing and I ended up with a patch of missing hair at the top of my head & it was more like a golden rust which accidentally looked good. 🙃 its nice to mix it up a bit looks good ✨️

I truly cannot stand it when folks do not like something someone else does (appearance wise) and feels the need to give their opinion on it. What you don’t like isn’t translated to everyone else, esp the one who had the change done in the first place. Folks thinking that by commenting on how much they dislike this color change, that it will somehow make the person change something they actually do like. You should have just started out with some light highlights and then if it grew on you slowly transition to full blond.

I’m guessing in a year or so you will have to do a big chop. Fully going blonde completely wrecks your curls over time. But at least you got it out of your system, everyone wants what they can’t have.
