The CCC vs Marlen was my fist live in person UFC. I have been a CCC fan ever since. The turn around was truly amazing to see, it looked like he had no chance against Saitama and then bashed him against the canvas.

Cejudo is definitely one of the more gracefully evolved fighters in mma. Hope he wins. I just dont like the way Aljo won the belt and how he was unable to admit tht had he was losing that fight

Great Show. I think Henry has grown up a lot. I watch his channel religiously, his break downs are solid, and his demeanor is cringe free. He’s got a tough one ahead of him, I wish him the best. I hate these fights when I like both guys.

I remember it being spoken about by Moraes coach, that in his early days he looked incredible but lacked belief. The belief grew with results, but Cejudo took it away and showed him his breaking point. When that point came in subsequent fights, it was familiar.
Great to see Triple C's record getting the credit it deserves. And as someone who actually likes the cringe gimmick, I think what makes it enjoyable is that Henry is self-aware. It's tongue-in-cheek, he knows he looks and sounds like an idiot and he plays up to it, instead of trying to be someone he's not. I respect it.
In the Dominick Crus fight they accidentally butted heads and Henry took the short end of the stick and a big cut opened on his forehead, pouring down blood. I remember streaming it live, and I felt Henry’s greatness. His aura changed. I was rooting for Dominick, and I immediately felt that he was done. Henry instantly became faster, sharper and meaner. He started stalking Cruz, and timed his weaving head movement with a knee. While celebrating with blood covering his face, you could see something straight demonic in his eyes. When competition gets tough, Henry elevates to a new level. He is possessed with winning. He is truly cut from the cloth of the greats.
These are cool, would be awesome to have Rashad jump into one of these if it’s ever relevant. Love MK, all day nearly every day
Cejudo also tore his left rotator cuff early in the Marlon fight. Makes the performance even greater. Notice how Henry barely throws any left hands

At 36 after a 3 year lay off at least he still had a chance, but now his fate is sealed he's going back to retirement.
I cant remember anyone else just powering through the “limp foot” or whatever you want to call it like he did against Johnson to go and beat him / end that crazy streak. Cringy as he may be, that mental fortitude is undeniable
I was thinking Henry but now that I've seen this I may just go for Aljo. Fighting for the King of Cringe belt.

Lol nah, marlon moraes didn't start to lose all those fights because suposedly Henry cejudo showed the blueprint on how to beat him that is absurd, it's simply his shin that eventually gived out, its as simple as that .
Cejudo beat him by simply surviving the early storm of the first round and then he put some pressure on him when he started to slow dawn since marlon always had cardio issues in his career, but boxing was never a particular weakness of marlon.
Jose aldo has good boxing and presure and he couldn't beat marlon when he still had good durability.
And Cory koed him with a spinning kick, he didn't try to imitate cejudo strategy of fighting. He didn't wait for marlon to get tired.
And Song also koed him immediately in the 1st round.
DJ won that second fight. The judges completely scored the fight on the old rules and gave a ton of reward to the takedowns. No submission or ground and pound landed.

Even though none of liked his Cringe gimmick, it worked. If he had continued without it, right now he'd be "that guy who won two belts yet we cant remember his name" without it. There's sadly already a lot of champions who have been forgotten because they had no personality/brand to stick out

i heard Henry say in an interview that he originally started his YT channel because he wanted to get rid of the cringe...he thought it began to be a bit much.
Cejudo is one of those fighters that necessarily didn't look great while fighting but he kept getting the job done. Never understood why he never won by a submission in 18 MMA fights considering that he was an Olympic gold winner in wrestling, and yet the jiu jitsu adapting part went somewhat missing along the way...
His wrestling offense wasn't great in MMA
@@tH_rN_cLsTWell, the DJ rematch was a close one where most people thought DJ won, and then the UFC just forgot about DJ and sent him away. The Cruz and TJ stoppages were weird. And then the Moraes fight where he got beat up early before making adjustments...
@tH3_€r33N_$0c!@L!sT The DJ fight was a robbery, Cruz is old, and was coming off a loss and years of inactivity from injuries. Marlon was beating him up until he gassed and as we've seen that win didn't age well, not a win to brag about lol
@@tH_rN_cLsT Cejudo gets the job done but there are cases for fighters being great but not looking great while performing. Even Woodley, Adesanya, Sterling, Andersen early on, Alex early on, Usman early on, Colby early on, Amanda early on, Edwards early on, and other champions as well have looked good but not great at times. In some cases, they need to be challenged more in order to perform better and sometimes they perform at a low-high pace and rhythm, which makes it seem like they're doing less than what they're actually doing.
I think Henry is an oddball. In a great way. I like him a lot. Other than the cringe. However, I think aljo is just too big. When guys don't make it to division 1, they develop a huge chip on their soldier. I think aljo is in his prime. I can see this fight being foty. Like Usman and Colby, two grapplers keep it on the feet. Aljos reach might be too much.

Great job Triple C! But Cejudo beat DJ under the old rules where control time was valued more over impact (damage). He would not win that fight under the new scoring change.
@Kombat Kompanion True! But we've only seen the new rule applied probably in the last couple years and most of the time quite controversially if you take the last Sabatello vs. Stots fight for example in Bellator.
Got aljo this week
Well, Aljo has size, reach, grappling, BJJ, great triangle, cardio....if this goes to the ground Henry is in deep trouble....a big task ahead for Henry.....and i am a fan of triple C. Three years off....mmm...This would be an upset if Cejudo wins....and i do hope Henry takes it....but gotta be real.
Aljo couldn’t even finish Petr Yan after having like 13 minutes of back control time. If it goes to the ground I think Cejudo will be just fine.
Aljo isn't a finisher of top tier guys with his grappling.
