Reggie’s literally has one of the BEST sound engineers in the city! I can only imagine what it must of sounded like Live. Show sold out in less than 20min..
The guy filming is standing center front row. The PA speakers are for sure far left and right. Guitars you can hear directly from the amps+cabs on stage, drums you can hear acoustically, vocals are amplified only through PA or monitors that are directed back to the singer so they're not coming at you much from the stage itself. It's not watching a DVD, shit's gonna sound different depending on where you stand, plus the sound engineer has his fixed spot to the back of the club, he can't traverse the crowd or something to check the sound at different spots.

Love it when you go to a concert and you can hardly hear the vocals. I saw mayhem back in September and didn’t even know the guy was singing.
