They're a 1/4-20" thread with a short shank that lets them move freely within the plate's gap. SmallRig do this set of bolts which looks like it includes a couple of them: amzn.to/460XQFh
Great video! I've always used gimble to film weddings but I am considering going hand held. My question is, how is stability and do you have a prefered lense?
What's the best combo of wires to connect monitor and fx3 to v mount for power? I have a fairly cheap monitor (feelwell) so would it be monitor with dci out to dtap battery in then usb type c from v mount to HDMI in camera?
Hi Ben, I was just looking for a rig something like this for my FX3. I got the V mount plate, the battery, cables but what cage are you using to secure the plate below since the FX3 has only 1 screw hole and the plate has 2. P.s. my rig will look very similar, the only difference is I added a tilta matte box with their VND for daytime shooting and instead of a side handle I use a smallrig top handle with record button. Having the battery charging the camera instead of a dummy battery I think it’s a way better rig and less cables. 👍🏻🙂🎥
Hey! I have the Tilta & both SmallRig cages for the FX3, and they all have multiple 1/4” threads on the bottom 👌 I have the record button handle too, nice addition!
Internal battery is what’s powering it, the red cable is just a USB-A to USC-C providing trickle charge from the V-mount. Any old cable should do the job, I just liked the red one 💁♂️

Thanks! I just bought a cheap charger on Amazon, nothing fancy. We have a proper charger in work which is cool, but more than I need
Are you using a special cord to power your camera via usb c or are you powering usb on battery to usb c on camera?
