Thanks alot for this video and I was able to follow it easily. However, my requirement is little different. I cant install anything in my company laptop (its not allowed & locked) but i want to change my location. I tried using Asus router VPN option using the ExpressVPNs open VPN server but the speed is very slow. Hence, I am here trying to see if wireguard can increase my speed. I think in my scenario, I need to have 2 router configured, One working as VPN server and other one (router 2) connecting to that server which lets me mask my location by only connecting to wifi from router 2. Is there an easy way to do this?

Hi, i followed all your instructions but for some reason, I dont get any internet connection on my phone. I downloaded the wireguard app on my google pixel. I set up the configuration on the asus router. On the Asus UI, when I hover my mouse over the key icon in the list of vpn clients, it shows it is disconnected. However on the wireguard app, i toggled to connect to it. What am I doing wrong?

    Hello,
when testing from outside using ipleak or browserleaks i do see My house ip and my ISP on top of the result then under DNS Addresses - 36 servers detected, 300 tests and all shows different ip with google as ISP. it does not leak the IP where i am connected from. is this OK or did i missed something on setup.

Hello! I'm trying to set a Wireguard vpn but had stuck. I'm using TP-link router as a server but I think there is no difference. So I made all the steps - installing Wireguard clilents on 2 machines running Windows 10. I can ping both computers on their VPN's IP addresses 10.0.0.2 and 10.0.0.3 but when I try to explore shared folders witn Windows explorer I can see only a "FileDrop" folder but not windows shared folders. What do I miss? Can you help me? Thank you!

Have you ever played around with portable routers, such as the GL iNet routers? I hope that you could do a review on them. I know that you can put OVPN files from Nord VPN and a few other VPN services on them

Great video. I followed your instructions and set up three AX58U routers. However, I need to create a site-to-site VPN so that each router can use its own ISP. Additionally, one of the routers has an external USB HDD connected to it, and I would like to be able to access that drive from the clients connected to the other routers. Do you have any settings for setting up a site-to-site VPN on these routers?

It appears that the AX58U does not support IPSec as a client, only as a server. After some research, I've found that the only feasible option for creating a Site-to-Site VPN is to use OpenVPN. Unfortunately it doesn't support SMB and the HDD connected to the router.

@@KnowledgeSharingTech Thank you for your reply. I was using an old ASUS router and I use 1000Mbps plan at my home in Hong Kong. I barely can't access the router OpenVPN in UK, the speed is too slow.
I later on got a NAS sever and set up a VPN serve on it, while connect it to the LAN port of the old router. OpenVPN server on the NAS runs at around 30Mbps while WireGuard runs at around 100Mbps on the NAS while my friend visit my server in US. I hope the new ASUS router can reach 100Mbps via WireGuard protocol, so that I don't have to turn on the VPN function on my NAS.

Thanks for the video. Isn't the OVPN protocol considered "stealth VPN", while Wireguard is not? The stealth VPN is when the site you are visiting doesn't know you have a VPN running. Do I have any of that right?
