TIPA performs in Lachung, North Sikkim

ཕྱི་ལོ་ ༢༠༢༤ ཟླ་ ༣ ཚེས་ ༡ ནས་ ༣ བར་ཉིན་གྲངས་ ༣ རིང་རྒྱ་གར་བྱང་ཕྱོགས་འབྲས་ལྗོངས་མངའ་ཁོངས་ལ་ཆུང་ས་གནས་ཀྱི་ལོ་གསར་དང་ཡུལ་སྐོར་སྤྲོ་འཆམ་གྱི་དུས་སྟོན་གོ་སྒྲིག་ཚོགས་ཆུང་ནས་གདན་ཞུ་གནང་དོན་ལྟར་བོད་ཀྱི་ཟློས་ཚོགས་པའི་སྤྱི་ཁྱབ་འགན་འཛིན་དོན་གྲུབ་ཚེ་རིང་ལགས་ཀྱི་སྣེ་ཁྲིད་འོག་སྒྱུ་རྩལ་སློབ་ཁྲིད་འགན་འཛིན་བསྟན་འཛིན་ཕུན་ཚོགས་ལགས་དང་སྒྱུ་རྩལ་བ་ཁྱོན་བསྡོམས་མི་གྲངས་ ༢༧ ས་གནས་སུ་ངོ་བཅར་གྱིས་ཕྱི་ལོ་ ༢༠༢༤ ཟླ་ ༣ ཚེས་ ༡ དང་ཚེས་ ༢ ཉིན་གཉིས་བོད་ཀྱི་ཐུན་མོང་མ་ཡིན་པའི་ལྷ་གཞུང་ཆོས་རྒྱལ་ནོར་བཟང་དང་འགྲོ་བ་བཟང་མོ་གཉིས་སྐུ་མགྲོན་དང་རྒྱ་ཆེའི་མང་ཚོགས་སུ་གཟིགས་འབུལ་ཞུས།
ཕྱི་ཚེས་ ༣ ཉིན་བོད་ཀྱི་ཡུལ་ལུང་ཁག་གི་རིག་གཞུང་ཞབས་གཞས་གཟིགས་འབུལ་ཞུས་པ་དང་། ད་ཉིན་ལྷོ་ནག་ཁུལ་ནས་སྤྲིན་འཐོར་རྐྱེན་པས་ཆུ་ལོག་གི་ཆུ་ཤུགས་གློག་འདོན་གྱི་ཆུ་མཛོད་དང་ཟམ་ཆེན་སོགས་ཆུ་རུད་ཀྱིས་འདེད་པར་བརྟེན་གཞུང་ལམ་འགྲུལ་སྐྱོད་ཐད་དཀའ་ངལ་ཅི་ཆེར་ཡོད་ནའང་གོ་སྒྲིག་ཚོགས་ཆུང་ནས་སྔ་རྗེས་རེ་བསྐུལ་ཞུ་དོན་ལྟར་ལ་ཆུང་ཁུལ་གྱི་བོད་རིགས་དང་ལ་ཆུང་བ་ཡོངས་ཀྱི་རེ་འདུན་བསྐོང་ཆེད་དངོས་སུ་བཅར་བ་ཡིན།
TIPA artists attended the 2024 Losar and Tourism Festival Celebrations at Lachung, North Sikkim, for 3 days from 1st March 2024, at the invitation of the Festival organising committee.
It was a challenging journey to the region for TIPA's cultural delegation of 27 artists, led by Director Dhundup Tsering and Artistic director Tenzin Phuntsok, as a cloudburst over Lhonak Lake in North Sikkim triggered a glacial lake outburst flood (GLOF) that caused extensive damage to the road infrastructure.
There was however nothing challenging about the performances as the professional Tibetan artists performed, with great poise and ease, two traditional Tibetan operas, Chogyal Norsang and Drowa Sangmo, and Tibetan songs and dances at Lachung Thomchi School Playgrounds, winning the hearts of the festival goers.
Shri Ganden T. Lachungpa, Shri Hishey Lachungpa, and Minister Samdup Lepcha were the distinguished guests at TIPA's cultural performances that were the highlight of the Festival, attracting crowds over 200 for every performance.
Commenting on the completion of this visit to Lachung, TIPA's director Dhundup Tsering remarked, "We are delighted with the success of our first domestic cultural tour of 2024 as we received quite a lot of positive feedback from the audience towards the cultural performances and much appreciation from the festival organisers."
