Since trying to learn Amarilli Mia Bella, it has been a struggle. It is my first time singing this style; it's absolutely beautiful and this video so far has been my favourite to practice with. I was also having a hard time emotionally connecting with this piece until I watched this today! Thank You.
Saw some silly criticisms below. Decorations are up to the singer. Caccini would have suggested variations but singers would have made their own interpretations. This is excellent as as natural song and sung as such, Bravo.

Incredibly beautiful voice. IMHO, I would have loved it more if you had not taken the breath in the midst of last "amo------re". But both the voice and music are perfect. Bravissimo!
***** Well, there's not really a good spot to take a breath on the last phrase or two. I sang it, and ended up doing the same thing. It's probably the best spot to do so because of the decrescendo on "amo" to "re".
Keaton Garner I agree, im also singing the song (raised a whole step) and unless you have a third lung, you're not making it through that phrase without breathing SOMEWHERE.
