Here is what it says on the instructions:
On May 31, 1911, the RMS Titanic was destined to become one of the most famous ships in the world. The Titanic's career was to be very short, but her sinking would result in the creation of the International Ice Patrol and demands for much more stringent safety requirements for passenger ships. It was on April 10, 1912 that RMS Titanic left Southampton, England on it's maiden voyage. When the Titanic hit an iceberg fully one third of the ship's length was open to the sea. She went down 2 hours and 40 minutes later. Most of the passengers lost were either steerage class who were only allowed on deck when nearly all boats were filled, or others who simply refused to leave because the Titanic was, after all unsinkable.

I have that model kit I got it when I was really really young I have no clue how models worked or any of that stuff turned it into the destroyed model it's being held up by tape and not the good tape but then I went to a antique mall and I found the exact same model except it was all done so I got it
now that I'm looking at the details of the ship there are some things that the person that made this got wrong but still a great model and I could tell that they did their best I do like how they did the wood that's probably the best part

A bit of advise. Paint light colours first, because it’s harder to paint light colours on dark colours, than it is to paint dark colours on light colours
great use of "jazz in Paris" when you were building the model
Airbrush does better job than paint brush. Just reminding you for the next build. It doesn't have to be expensive, either.

Thanks, doing one also. OOPS....I put the gold hull pin stripe in the wrong place, at the water line instead ot top of hull. I saw yours and went to the color video and sure 'nuff...guess I gotta re-do that. Painting the little stuff is a ...wellll...LOL! Thanks for the post.

Sadly there's no model of the Britannic but people are making there own Britannic model by using a Titanic model kit or a Olympic model kit
You might have gotten a better hull paint job on the hull if you had painted it before you brought them together.

It didn't come with any glue. I used super glue but maybe I should have used plastic cement? I don't have a lot of experience building models but I did enjoy making this.
Im building this now and its not that bad especially since i cant build.

Rana Alfarouk You use a small pair of model side cutters to cut the small parts off from the sprue. You can get the clippers from almost any hobby shop. They are not the usual pair of small wire side cutters these are special side cutters for plastic models.

Possibly For Him A Month Because He Says So (I Think). When I Built This Model I Kind Of Rushed It And It Looked Bad. Thats Why I Gave It To A Friend Who Wanted It And I Got Another One And This Time I Will Not Rush It.
What did he use to paint
Im Guessing Testers Paint. I Use Testers Cement Paint For My Models, But If You Are Just Beginning To Build Models, Use Normal Testers Paint Or Acrylic Paint. (Acrylic Paint Can Be Taken Off With Water)

Well you weren't exaggerating when you conveyed this kit as destined to turn out as a monstrosity...
In truth however this kit was a monstrosity even *before* you started assembling it. I built this kit last year and one thing I have to say is that it has *got* to be among the very worst of the Titanic kits that are available! There is absolutely *zero* details on the external bulkheads, deck houses and railings! I've never seen such a crude kit in my life! Even the atrocious horror that is Glencoe's SS United States at least comes with decals that can be applied to simulate railings!
Outside is not perfect happened, deck is ok...

crap, I used the brown paint instead of the tan one for the deck, I should've used the tan.
