I just found out that this song came out in 2017. I would have sworn that this came out in the mid 90s.
That is a compliment.
To me it sounds like "Thinkin Problem" by David Ball and I'm pretty sure that song came out in the 90s.
@@callikrueger9641spot on.

Thanks for your service!!!! Always in my prayers!!! We miss you too :)
As a young black man in Texas, I was scared to go to a saloon because I thought I would look weird. Until one day, one of my army buddies dragged me to a saloon in the stockyards of Fort worth. They started playing this song and everyone on the dance floor started pairing up. I was then approached by this young lady who dragged me onto the dance floor and we started dancing. From then on, I really started appreciating country music.
Nailed it!!!! 👏👏👏👏

I used to listen to this in active alcoholism, and it was comforting in the self destructive sense, but this song has since taken on a whole new meaning. Now that I’m sober, it’s almost an anthem for me, reminding me of how awful life can get if I keep making it worse for myself.
I have to agree was going through the same thing and now sober.Makes alot of since this song.
One day I will say the same thing
Everything in moderation! As for myself I’ll never stop drinking beer 🍺 cheers

I lean heavy Rock and Roll almost never Country but had the same experience as you with this song today due to a former Professor, who is a friend on FB, being an Aunt to one of the band's members highly recommend that I listen- I'm very glad she did. The song has a strong allusion to another Country title of the same name released in the early-mid Nineties.
thinkin' problem from david ball?
Oz M. That sounds about right. Thanks.
Walter Andrade we used to play thinking problem by david ball and change the lyrics screwing around and sing. " yes i admit, I got a drinking problem ". kinda reminds me if that for sure.
Haven’t drank in almost 7 months , heard the last couple secs of the song on radio came home and told Alexa to play it. Just cracked one open. Crazy how music can adjust someone’s mentality

Giving this town lots to talk about
They don't know what they don't know

People sayin' that I've hit rock bottom
Just 'cause I'm living on the rocks
It's a broken-hearted thinkin' problem
So pull that bottle off the wall
People say I got a drinkin' problem
But I got no problem drinkin' at all
They keep on talkin'
Drawing conclusions
They call a problem, I call a solution
Last call gets later and later
I come in here so I don't have to hate her

Same old, same old blue neon
The same old buzz, just because
People say I've got a drinkin' problem
That ain't no reason to stop
People sayin' that I've hit rock bottom
Just cause I'm living on the rocks
It's a broken hearted thinkin' problem
So pull that bottle off the wall
People say I got a drinkin' problem
But I got no problem drinkin' at all
They keep on talkin'
Drawing conclusions
They call a problem, I call a solution
Sitting here in all my grand illusions
They call it a problem, I call it a solution
Just a solution
It's a broken-hearted thinkin' problem
So pull that bottle off the wall
People say I got a drinkin' problem
But I got no problems drinkin' at all
They keep on talkin'
Drawing conclusions
They call a problem, I call a solution
Sitting here in all my grand illusions
They call it a problem, I call it a solution

Classic country is great, Nothing wrong with some of today's country music, Country music evolves just like other music genre's do

Bloody legend 🍻
The day someone sent me this song, my life was never the same. I quickly grew an appreciation for country music that I never had. Growing up as a Mexican-American in the south, I develop animosity to all things southern, including country music. This song really helped me appreciate the south and realize that it is a part of me, just like Mexican culture. I learned that a lot of country western culture is heavily influenced by Mexican vaquero culture. Wearing cowboy boots, and hats has been a long tradition in my family, but I just always separated that from the south. But now I understand that country people, whether in the U.S. or Mexico have a lot in common. I’m proud to be a Mexican in the south!
You gotta go down to way South Texas. That's where southern culture and Mexican culture truly meet.
Amen brother 💪🏽viva la raza
Yup, even have the Mexican blanket (Serape) @34 seconds
There's a large overlap between the American southern states and the Mexican northern states.
