The third look with the Target dress, that look was definitely my favorite. You can never go wrong with a simplistic ethereal look like that when you pair it with a kimono but I'm probably bias because I generally gravitate towards that look these days, especially with how hot it's been getting where I live lol. The purple crushed velvet top was also a damn good find and only for $$5? Awesome sauce. As for the whole "Whimsigothic" vibe (I don't call it "Whimsigoth" because it just is misappropriation of goth), I think that velvet is a popular fabric within it because it's pretty much a 90s revival style and velvet was popular in a lot of 90s fashion back in the day. It's pretty much velvet and/or floral prints paired with celestial-inspired accents (usually with jewelry). Think first season of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, The Craft (namely Bonnie and Rochelle), Willow from Buffy The Vampire Slayer (post High School), and Phoebe from Friends. And Stevie Nicks.
I think every household needs fancy dishes for display that no one eats off of.😅
