  • Sure was nice to get back out for over due trail therapy. It's been over 5 years since I rode out of Ride Royal Blue, as far as I'm concerned it wasn't long enough. TWRA has tried their best to wear the dirt out over there grooming those trails, it's either a muddy mess or a dust bowl....there is nothing in between. Other than having to ride thru this disaster of a riding area this was a great day. Had a small rollover on Hell's Canyon, a bruised hand was the only real damage.
    A great therapy session.

Love your videos. My wife & I rode Royal Blue this past March for the first time & loved it. We actually made that our honeymoon. Can't wait to go back. Of course it was before I thought of shooting videos & or building a channel...lol. Keep up the good stuff, really enjoy them.

Another nice one and great driving by that young man! Will be coming up and staying at RRB on the 24th and riding for 4 or 5 days. Will be doing a lot on the west side of 75 and also need to figure out Tackett. I have Dans maps so I guess we will just dive in, lol. Will be the 1st real ride for my new XPT, can't wait.

You can, its a ton of gravel road riding...I don't know how to tell you to get there.

Not trying to be an ass or anything but what can they do about the weather or the trail conditions other than to fill washouts?
If it rains it's muddy,if it doesnt it's dusty....pretty standard fare on every trail I've ever run. Unless of course you happen to show up at just the right time.

If they would let the trails harden in they would not have to groom as much and there would far less dust and mud. But they will not leave them alone long enough for that to happen.

So are they grading them or something?
The trails I run as I said, are dusty or muddy depending on the weather.

I think they do it because so many people run stock machines or have so little experience riding mountain trails. I agree they should leave them alone. Trail 27 used to be fun now it is either like a car can ride it or nearly impassible. They keep having to reroute it and it just gets worse. I much prefer it wet there so there is no dust but I have lots of clearance and it is fun to see all the stock machines stuck in the ruts.
