Endangered species on the brink
Three parrot species are at risk of disappearing forever.
- Blue-throated Macaws in Bolivia cling to survival, with fewer than 150 left.
- Yellow-crested Cockatoos are critically endangered, with fewer than a thousand remaining.
- Great Green Macaws struggle in Central America, their numbers quickly dwindling.
Through the efforts of some very special donors who came to their aid, important work to save these parrots from extinction can, and will, continue.
