What is it like to be a High School Teacher?

Take a peak into what a day looks like for a High School Social Studies teacher 💕
Follow along with me as a navigate through my day teaching freshmen teach freshmen (Pre-AP World History and Geography) and sophomores (Research 1) as a High School Social Studies Teacher. This is my 8th year teaching (at a Title I school). Teaching has its ups and downs, of course, but this video showcases that the daily tasks of teaching can be fun.. if you let it!
In this video we have rotation stations (which is basically a gallery walk), a veterans ceremony, and a lot of energy! 😂

I knew you were a vibe a few minutes in. Then, it was confirmed when you started playing Mariah Carey. Then you started singing! Then, I realized you were singing in front of students to annoy them. I'm the exact same way with my students and we roast each other in a fun and healthy way (they are such goobers). You would so be my teacher bestie if we were in the same building. Lol! How exciting! It really is different in every state! And every district. What state are you moving to? I’m in Florida. I certainly recommend taking a classroom management course if they make one available to you as behavior is one of the hardest aspects. Good luck!
