    I did not know that a stone with drill hole was called a bead, I just figured little stones were beads. I learn something almost every time I watch you.

    Awesome rings. Thanks for the tutorial. I’m new to doing wire wrapping, but I love the results and you’ve certainly piqued my interest in doing wire wrap jewelry. Thanks and have a fantastic holiday.

    Love the stone you chose.. so pretty.. love this design. Need a mandrel.. by the way - can I ask -what do you think about 22 g antique copper strength for wrapped loop gemstone chain link? I’m finding it’s soft as I work with it I’m having trouble cause it feels squishy compared to the silver I’d been using.. thoughts? Get the feel for it and it will be strong enough?? ☺️🤔😉thanks for any advice...

    • @MattsCrazyArt
      @MattsCrazyArt  Před 4 lety +5

      22 gauge is only good for wrapping larger gauges or for decoration. It is not good for anything that needs strength or holds pressure.

    • @erickapoppe9696

      Ok that’s kinda what I was thinking would happen.. I tugged on it and it was ok but don’t want my stuff falling apart.. ty☺️

    • @MattsCrazyArt
      @MattsCrazyArt  Před 4 lety

      Amazon had a steel one for $20 recently. Just type "stepped ring mandrel" and check as many sites as you can to see if the picture is really stepped.

    Not a good construct. The stone will sit diagonally on your finger and look lopsided. The diagonal bands are not symmetrical or structurally solid. Have to pass on this one. Also don't like the face of the jasper stone divided into halves. Maybe with a black river pebble this would look okay, but not a variegated jasper.

    @dougharper9876 Před 2 lety

    This one was very bad, I don't know how people could like something that's so obviously terrible... the ring part is so out of whack it wants to turn on your finger all the time, it'll irritate someone to wear this, this Stone was fabulous but not for this kind of terrible ring.
