UPDATE 12th of JUNE 2024: I sent my board back to Evolve Germany service center for deep inspection. For 1 month I waited for simple email reply because I asked a new board as I was done of replacing parts like battery, motor controller so many times. After waiting for about a month I got a reply back that if I want a new board I need to wait until end of July/August... and they still want my old board.. soo I caved in and asked for a repair again to maybe make it go quicker so I could ride again.. I feel we could have reached this decision a month ago but because I asked a new board as replacement they didnt want to respond. So today my board arrived to Germany and got an email back that it was a burnt out connector on the BMS.. they replaced the entire BMS and sealed it better then from factory they said (I feel they need better quality control) and I shouldnt have any more issues. Getting the board back in 1-2 weeks from now so I am hopeful because my GTR broke down every 2 weeks aswell back in the day and after they replaced faulty BMS on that thing.. it never broke down again. SO... overall very frustrated BUT if it now works fine I am fine with it and can move on! Maybe this also cave some good feedback to Evolve on how to mass produce their boards a bit better, a bit better Quality Control perhaps and a few tweaks in the assembly.
Had discussion with evolve uk about most of stuff is out of stock and they explained that eu having only 4 delivery's a year by Boat, next is middle of July hence they told u end of July.
UPDATE 9th of MAY 2024: So the board died again! Out of the blue.. had done 15km ride already and then, came up a hill, drove a short distance to a crossing, slowed to 5kmh and board just turned off and will not turn back on.. I am so done right now.. I am hoping Evolve sends a brand new board this time because ive changed motor controllers, batteries etc atleast 6-8x now.. maybe there is some other component connecting things that is failing.. or maybe it is the charger.. ive smelled some burned wires or something like that last time I checked the motor controller unit when I was finishing charging 3min earlier.. Anyway thats the latest update for Evolve Hadean.

Did a couple of short rides to shop and back in February at -3c to -5c weather, all fine, then weather got pretty good, constantly 1-5c weather, did longer rides and finally a few days ago the board just restarded itself during a ride, was going about 20kmh, almost fell. Talked with Evolve, they said battery might be bad because I rode in such cold weather.. I cant, have to baby this board like crazy to keep it alive.. Im still waiting for good weather to return to re-test it, maybe it didnt like 5c weather for longer rides (15-30min of constant ride). Hopefully no damage, never saw a red cell, always check it during rides and before starting a ride.
Just buy a used boosted board! I've had it since 2016 and it never let me down plus it goes in reverse. Never had battery issues ,still using my first battery.
@@alexvvedenskiyvlogs the amount of power difference alongside with the trigger remote it is impossible atm to get any other board. Ive pinned the problem down to shitty sealing.. ECU gets dust in it causing it to fail over time. Am testing right now with brand new ECU to see if the sealing the board properly will finally make it stay alive. Also dont forget its actually very slim nice carbon design that gets u 50km on one charge.. its still imo the best eskate board out there, if it works.
Great review, SUBSCRIBED! Wow, so many issues for such an expensive board. I have Verreal RS, Meepo Voyager & Ownboard Zeus, over 7,000km collectively & zero issues, not even a broken belt! I ride 30km most days here in Australia all year round, as fast as I dare, multiple crashes (stick jammed in pulley at 45kmh, & rider error) all 3 work like new. Not a fan of trigger remote, separate brake button can touched accidentally with catastrophic consequences not possible with thumbwheel. I've also been caught out in heavy rain, no water intrusion so if other companies can do it, so can Evolve! Such a shame, looks like fun board to ride!
Been driving the trigger remote since 2020 and never had issues with accidentaly hitting the brake. But I am very interested in driving again to see how it holds up.. hopefully warranty still applies because they fixed my Hadean (switched battery) in what.. October when I got to ride 1 week or so until weather turned for the worse and I cant ride until like April.. maybe March the earliest.. thing is they only offer 6months warranty for battery lol.. icant..

Can you give details on what you had to do ? Any options you were considering trying ? And how far off your cells were unbalanced ? Why the unbalancing occured ?
Seems my warranty issues have been finally solved too. The reason my board died every 2-3 weeks of riding was burnt BMS. Was covered by warranty finally and been blasting for a month straight every day with zero issues! Also I think I found why my gears melted so fast.. I removed the belt covers, seems after doing that the gears dont get so hot and dont melt over time, or atleast do it at a much much slower pace. Which also means the red cells I thought were by bad battery or battery unbalance is also not true.. it was the BMS all along. Will keep my eye on this for a year to know for sure.
Probably 70% of the local group I ride with who have hadeans have had the same battery issues you have, idk what it is but this generation of boards has for our local riders at least a lot more issues than the previous boards.
I think they need to address this. Its still snowing heavily here up until like March. Only peace of mind I have is that I will be looking at the voltage at the start of every ride, like 3-5min into the ride, if there is any red cell shenanigans. I will report back in the summer as a top comment or something to say if I have any more problems.
Thanks Bro I do have GTR Carbon (never let me down and after 3yr still do 12mil in gtr mode) still I was thinking to get The Hadean but watching yr take changed my mind. And the out of stock is in uk as well I mean constantly on almost everything. So look like I'll get different skate the Radium look good or just upgrade my GTR with 3rd party part as Evolve got everything out of stock.
UPDATE: APRIL 2024 I THINK I FOUND WHY MY BOARD HAD RED CELLS AND CUT OFF POWER IT WAS NOT THE BATTERY! While ive been having wayyy too many issues with my board I still love the board, warranty service has been great all around but my board still seems to have the same issue weeks after repairs. This time again, RED CELLS, board cuts power, dangerous to drive but instead of sending the entire board for service Evolve asked me if I could try and replace the motor controller unit myself at home.. they didnt think it was the battery. Because sending the board to Evolve takes around 1 month I was YES, lets do it! I can replace it no problem. Soo.. I got the new controller unit very quickly sent to me, I open my board up, replace the controller, go outside.. IT WORKS! NO RED CELLS, NO CUTOFFS! WTF?! Soo.. yes I am happy.. but why the fck does my board always die in 2-3weeks after repairs? I started to dig deeper after realizing it was NOT the battery or anything to do with charging etc. I took another look at my old motor controller unit.. and then I saw it.. one side of the board is very dusty.. the compartment has very minimal sealing so the outside air gets inside.. which.. looking at my motors which have 2 gigantic MAGNETS... they pick up very tiny metal particles all the time.. im sure you guys know what im talking about. Then it hit me.. if the dust has metal particles.. they get inside the motor controller unit and just mess up the frequencies on the motherboard. So what I now did after asking Evolve for permission is to seal it as best as I could. Did a few test runs, no dust gets in it anymore. Also the board still works perfectly, no issues at all. I dont wanna jinx myself here.. but I wanted to share these findings in the hopes of helping Evolve and others. Maybe the board needs updated sealing or at the very least, new sealing for people who have had these issues. Im gonna ride as hard as possible for next 2 months to see if this is FINALLY the thing that was breaking my board down every 2-3 weeks of 24\7 rides.
i bought 2 hardens and both had faulty battery cells, boards were dropping from 100% to 70% to 30% then cutting out, had 2 falls from them cutting out, the manufacturer they get their batteries from is no good, i had to pay to replace after only 300kms of riding because it was not in warranty
I bought the Hadean Bamboo when they first came out so over 2 years now I think maybe longer, I ride it every weekend if it is not raining and touch wood never had an issue, I ride AT weeks and never even had a flat tire or broken belt, so maybe I am just a luck dude. I just recently changed it over to gear drive so now I don't have to worry about grass and sticks getting caught in the belt.
Maybe its because you only ride it on the weekends and I have no idea how hard you push your board. I ride it every single day atleast for an hour or two in the summer and blast on the 97-s.. going up a small hill each time too. Never saw any heat issues though so i donno man.. I just felt so unlucky the entire season.. but my god, when it works as should.. it feels and drives like a dream. I almost went with the Bamboo Hadean but I saw it flex a bit too much for my weight in videos and as stated in my video I got to test drive the Carbon a season earlier and it instantly felt super nice to stand and ride on.
I tried one on a group ride, hated it. The jerky torque when accelerating just felt poorly engineered, as opposed to clean power. Plus it’s the only board I’ve ever had speed wobbles on (while going slow) I’ve ridden 12 boards
If you only tried it once in a group ride prolly you didnt tighten the trucks to your likeness, thats why it will wobble. Jerky torque.. you mean sudden torque? You can actually adjust how gradually the power is applied via the APP :)

Yea this is a very situationally dependent review. Not sure if i make sense but those issues you mentioned were likely based on the owners settings.
