Another good video Tommy, Cleveland and I use the Boise over the Atlanta I like that heal over the Radar don't know how many times that heal has saved the Boise to continue fighting and brawling against BB's near full health to pull off miracles. I know it doesn't happen all the time but the American CL's are amazing and under estimated in brawl situations.
Good video overall. Love the skin on the Cleveland. It's what I run on mine and balti. I'd take Atlanta over Boise with the radar and torps. However Boise is good fun still. HOWEVER at the 4:10 mark I disagree. It Is NOT the light cruisers primary job to light fires on bb's. It is their job to light fires period especially on dd's cruisers and radar ships. This sounds like the mentality of dd drivers thinking their job is to torp bb's it's not. Cruisers tend to have more dps and are larger threats than battleships. Therefore if I can put perma fires on them too, we take more dpm off the field and protect our dd's. ESPECIALLY if it's a radar cruiser. Also forcing ships like the Russian bb's, and German bc's to use their limited quantity damage control is huge.
Atlanta was the first premium ship I ever got. Haven't been around long enough to have acquired it via campaign - I got mine with GXP. That ship can be an absolute menace. Those 127s tend to shatter a lot, especially when you're targeting T7 BBs, but holy pyromania Batman! With the sonar and radar, DDs are chew toys. Only issue with her is that once she's spotted, everyone and their mother is trying to turn her into slag LOL.
My favorite thing in her and her sister ship Flint is when you get a battleship to push into you and even if you get caught you can sometimes turn flat broadside and they struggle to kill you cause they will just over pen constantly
I have two Atlantas and both are infuriating. The myopic firing range extremely limits where you can play on any map. Even fully specced into range increases, it doesn’t work. CLs are about zone denial and having the among the smallest control radius you very ineffective. Not to mention that all American CLs are minted from solid explodium ore that detonate when sneezed upon, and you are always within sneezing distance of the enemy when you want to fire her guns.
Had a guy call be a cheater because he triggered fighting with fire twice... explain the skill but it was like talking to a wall that didn't believe me

I always liked my Atlanta, with a stealth Beapley build. Then I got San Diego, and this past brawl season was easy mode.

I only have Dallas, but it's pretty fun. The entire tech tree has 2200 HE rounds, so at tier 5, it's a hell of a glass cannon.
I use Azure lane Baltimore, on my light cruiser's, shorter fuse time ,so much more penetrable, using HE more pens ,more damaging

Light cruisers are also ideal for supporting blue DDs while capping.

Strongly disagree about Atlanta. It sucks! I had only 1 fun game with it, when I ended up against 5 destroyers and 4 BBs.
play a support rold, dont engage other cruisers or BBs you'll be sunk position behind a mountain and spam HE hunt DDs when necessary
