  • Finland is a well-known tourist destination. It is surrounded by 73% forest and contains approximately 200,000 lakes, making for some spectacular scenery. The view of the northern lights is also a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
    However, not everyone can just pack their belongings and travel to Finland. Because of the Schengen travel region, all EU nationals can enter Finland with only their valid travel papers or passports. Passports are not required for citizens of the Nordic nations of Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Iceland. They can enter Finland with only their ID.
    Non-EU visitors who desire to visit Finland must submit certain documentation when they arrive at the Finland port of entry. These are the documents: A current passport or travel document Valid for at least three months after their intended date of departure from Schengen and granted within the past ten years. If they are subject to Finland visa regime, they will need a visa.

    I have one question if my first entry to schengen is Finland , and then I travel to say Iceland and then again to Finland from Iceland. That still counts as single entry right?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  Před rokem +1

      No, this would qualify as two Schengen Area entries since you would be leaving the Schengen Area while traveling from Finland to Iceland and then re-entering when returning from Iceland to Finland. Every time you enter the Schengen Area, regardless of whose nation you arrive from, it is a fresh entrance. As a result, you must obtain a multiple-entry Schengen visa that permits you to enter the Schengen Area more than once within the visa's validity term.

    I'm in an EU country (not in schengen zone) is the no objection letter compulsory and what do you do if the University doesn't give you one?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  Před rokem

      You should check this with the University.

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  Před rokem

      If you are in an EU country that is not part of the Schengen Zone, the requirement for a no objection letter may vary. It is best to check the specific immigration regulations of the country you are in. If the university does not provide a no objection letter, you can inquire about alternative documentation or consult with the relevant immigration authorities for guidance on the necessary steps to proceed with your situation.

    Hi, i am applying very soon for tourist visa to go to finland and other schengen countries. Do you know if they can give easily a multiple entry visa for 6months or 1 year validity? Do you have any advices or tips

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Getting a multiple-entry tourist visa for 6 months to 1 year in Finland or other Schengen countries is possible, but it depends on various factors, including your travel history, financial stability, and the purpose of your visit. To improve your chances, ensure your application is complete and accurate, demonstrate strong ties to your home country, provide a detailed itinerary, and show sufficient funds to cover your expenses. It's essential to apply well in advance, have travel insurance, and be prepared for an interview if required. Each Schengen country may have slightly different requirements, so check with the specific embassy or consulate where you plan to apply for your visa.

    Pls help me with this, will someone of chronic inactive hapititis b status be granted visa to Finland to study?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  Před 8 měsíci

      Whether someone with chronic inactive hepatitis B status can obtain a tourist visa to Finland depends on various factors, including the purpose of the visit and individual circumstances. While this condition may not automatically disqualify someone, the decision is based on the assessment of the specific case, medical documentation, and compliance with visa requirements. It's advisable to consult with the Finnish embassy or consulate and, if needed, seek guidance from immigration experts to navigate the application process effectively. Ultimately, visa issuance is at the discretion of Finnish authorities.

    I cant understand about that health insurance , could you please clarify it to me

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  Před 2 měsíci

      For a Finland tourist visa, health insurance is a mandatory requirement. You need to have travel health insurance that covers potential medical expenses while you are in Finland and the entire Schengen area. The insurance must have a minimum coverage of 30,000 euros and should cover any expenses that might arise in connection with emergency medical treatment, hospitalization, and repatriation for medical reasons or in case of death.
      Make sure that your insurance is valid throughout the entire Schengen area and for the duration of your stay. It's important to have this insurance in place before you apply for your visa, as you will need to provide proof of it as part of your visa application documents.

      @visalibrary  Před rokem +1

      Yes, you may receive a tourist visa to Finland if you are unemployed, but your spouse can give financial assistance for the trip. You must show that you have sufficient money to support your travel and that you intend to return home after your visit. Since criteria may differ, it is suggested that you carefully consider the application requirements and seek help from the Finnish embassy or consulate.

    If i visit Finland with tourist visa is it possible for me to work

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  Před 2 měsíci

      No, if you visit Finland with a tourist visa, you are not permitted to work. A tourist visa is strictly for tourism purposes and does not allow you to engage in any employment activities. If you wish to work in Finland, you need to apply for a specific work visa or a residence permit that allows employment.
