One of the most accurate explaination I've seen without much abstraction, even took caching into consideration. Thank you!
I love the simplicity and the step-by-step explanations. Thanks for the video and for helping me understand better.
This tutorial made it so easy to understand the complex stuff. Thanks!
This is still the best explanation of DNS! Thank you so much for making it so clear.
Quickly explained and straight to the point thanks, cloud girl.
Thank you! To the point and not complicated for use in class.
Loved it, thank you for the clear explanation!

Thank you for explaining this, the level of clarity 😊 is amazing.
This is awesome!! The explanation technique is great, similar to IBM Cloud I would say. The content is also great. Similar topics would be surely helpful.! Thanks!
Glad you are liking the content!
This was really helpful. We love your style of explaining stuff. Please do make more such videos about fundamental concepts!
Thank you so much! More videos planned for December
Love her concise explanation. Also love her "James Brown" hair-do, too!
That was awesome. Great explanation and presentation!
Very good video, really appreciated it. I would like to understand DDNS, I do have one, have not used for a long time, do not even remember why I got a DDNS with a service provider. Thank you again.
Great explanation, waiting for next one. Thanks!
Thanks!
Very Informative. Thank you Ma'am.

SUPER HELPFUL!!
The best video around ..
Really Great Explanation 👍 DNS Basics are so important if you are working with Infoblox DDI/Citrix ADC... Please create more such DNS concepts 🙏
Thanks Jeebu!
Great explanation
Great example
This is awesome!!
Perfect video!!!
So cool explination
This is head up for me to start properly
So if I were to change it on my Xbox, that wouldn’t do anything bad to my internet right? Cuz I keep getting told it will
Is this recursive lookup or iterative lookup ? DNS uses TCP or UDP port 53 or both ? Excellent and to the point video especially single one page diagram which gives 10,000/- feet birds view ...
excellent
Thank you
Nice explanation and I started learning cloud computing. I need some help any help you might offer madam.
Thank you.
Where is DNS resolver located?
And also the rest of other servers?
Thank You ❤
very well explained
Thank you!
I liked, how u made it so simple to grasp✨
Thanks for sharing.
I will, thanks for the ask!
Thanks
Very nicely explained
Thank you!
This is flawless:))
Thanks! :)
I have a question that comes to mind
We assume that we have 5 records, all of them with the same domain name, and each record has a different IP
Why when requesting query
The Name Serverin Response brings me all five records, not one or two
Is this constant in dns?
Or there something that can control this? I mean two records only go not the five
Thank you Priyanka, can we get a video on different DNS record types and how to use each?
Thanks for the feedback. I will work on it.
Your explanation is nice and simple. Thank you
I really like this video the comparison, and the use of the transparent drawing board is ingenious. However I have a question;
does the DNS resolver return the IP address directly back to your home router? or does the IP back to your ISP and then to your router?
I had it in my head that all of your internet traffic went PC > Router > ISP > Internet > ISP > Router > PC
If anyone has a good link as to how the traffic is sent & received plz share, Thanks
Yes, it does if it has the IP address otherwise it sends the request further and then replies back
@@pvergadia thanks for replying, was the yes, yes it send the ip straight back to your home ip, bypassing your ISP?
Quick Question: Your diagram shows two-way communication between the resolver and each successive lookup server.
I thought that each successive lookup server goes immediately to the next server in line until the record is found and only then returns an answer to the resolver.
Can you please clarify this for me?
Best
Yes, your understanding is accurate. The reason I show two way arrows is that it wont go to the next lookup if it find the answer, in which case it will go back to the user without recursion from any of those intermediate steps. Hope this helps.
Please make more fundamental videos.
Really Phone Number contact list comparing
You can post it CZcams Shorts ❤️❤️❤️

I'm amazed in your ability to write backwards!
Lol, I am not writing backwards. It's image flip :)
@@pvergadia ykwhm 😆😆
@@pvergadia oh😅
Why don't we directly go to authoritative server .... When we know that the information is not available at the first two place
Very first this process is too quick .
And second every server on internet reads the Top level domain(.dev)then second level domain (the cloud girl)and in last sub domain .
can u please prepare one on basic cyber security practice ? - Thank you
Thanks for the request, I will!
we want more
my DNS got crossed can anyone help
i just love her dimples
What happens if it can’t find the record?
It goes to the next authoritative name server for the answer.
Well said! Have you more videos? I'll subsribe :)
Explain CICD pipeline ?
Noted, thanks for the request.
We want more fundamentals?
Please do playlist
Why we need "X" ?
X may be Cloud
X may be Network
X may be Internet
X may be Interest on any topic
It is like basement of House 🏘️
Great to hear that you would like to see more fundamentals! I am working on a playlist.
370th...Thanks
If one directly enteres the host's IP address, followed by the resource path (e.g.: 123.459.77.93/about), will the request still undergo DNS resolution process?
Thank you
