This was epic one team in KC having huge heart & ambition, the other in CC well discipline & determined. CC undeterred by the deficit & continued to probe the KC defence truly mature showing for youngsters. Both with so much individual & collective talents

All these players should be closely watched and developed. Whisper is special and he's being worked on right now.
The writing that was on the wall. Much of the game has to do with mind over matter. Miguel's team will always set higher standards in practice for his players, thereby developing more focus and mental toughness. Hyde is a great coach but this time the other team practiced at a higher standard. Dacosta cup schools usually figure below the Manning cup teams this way, except for teams like Cornwall College or Ruseas when they are up and doing well.
Many people do not understand that you can see the teams play and tell how they trained (Which affects their mindsets) and the standard of play demanded of them. Sometimes we do not want to be too hard on players practicing because no one is perfect; but the more perfect they become on doing the simple things right the more less likely they are to see defeat. Also, the more mentally tough they become by trying to be at the level coach demanded.
Clarendon trained two goals below the level of KC. They could tolerate making errors and saying sorry. Do it better the next time. They could afford to get away with not doing the simple things right, making bad passing or rotating decisions. Not practicing the accurate passing and weighting of the passes. This is why it became hard to win in a right game. I guarantee that this was Clarendon's problem. I saw it in a game when they were playing on a soggy field and someone was saying that the field was soggy so I could not judge them. The soggy field was the perfect opportunity to see how they delt with uncomfortable situations and make decisions to overcome. Sometimes I wish we could try to see the sense in nonsense. I bet the coaches of the winning team would understand what I am talking about. With all that said, Clarendon and Teacha Hydes team has done a great job even though they lost this game. I am just adding that even at a high standard sometimes we have simple things to do to become as impervious as possible. Sometimes it's the one thing we don't think about that others will one-up on us with until we get the game. Miguel's teams always train above the standard of the competition in order to win it.
